Yes! ONly few hours later, I have RileyROM 2.0 running on my OLD-PCB Pipo M9

Both multiwindow and multiuser are working like a charm.

I will keep on mailing pipo to get its launcher key for OLD pcb devices.

After 8 hours of usage, happy to report no issues at all except antutu crash, no big deal there as it's not a critical app

Pipo launcher works after reboot, no longer asking for activation code, pretty cool but tiles are not live so switch back to plain launcher.

Multiwindows work well after some getting used to, the feature I look forward to most as I can now edit a doc while having email open and use IM+ at the same time, still smooth with 3 apps running

Riley, may I ask what are the changes in the final version? If it is only the boot animation & wallpaper for multiuser, I can stick to test version as I don't share my tablet & deleting the animation file works fine for me...

            TUN.ko

            Hi Riley,

Do we have TUN.ko added to this ROM as per your previous ROM's?

Thanks in advance! Is Multi-User present only on 2.0? I used 1.8, there was not. I can check behaviour of wallpaper on different versions if needed to compare, but I don't know on which versions Multi-User support definetely was.

                  Aditional problems

Well, I just have two other things to report.

First, the bluetooth, I use it to pair a keyboard and it connects well but it has a problem, after some time of inactivity the conection betwen tablet and keyboard gets lost and I have to power off and power on my keyboard to work again.

The second thing is the normal problem with multiwindow option that still hasnt be fixed, when multiwindow option is disabled there is a problem switching between aps, it just doesnt work.

ROM is smooth, but due to the bluetooth problem, I may reconsider going back to my previous ROM, anyway I may try fixing this by myself porting some stuff, just like I did to fix the buttons layout.

Hello again. One member from another forum experienced troubles with touch screen after 2.0 flashing. He's geting these error messages in kernel log

ct36x_ts 2-0001: CT36X chip: Failed to get fwchksum
                    <3>[ 3.915167] ct36x_ts 2-0001: Failed to init ct36x chip
                    <4>[ 3.915189] ct36x_ts: probe of 2-0001 failed with error -11

Touch screen is mirrored. Left side if working like right, right has weird behavior. What can be the source of the trouble? Is there any way to reflash touch controller firmware? Thanks in advance

Ok flashed final version to another m9 tablet, I own 2, antutu don't crash in this version everything works fine so far.

I have no trouble switching between apps when multiwindow feature disabled...

                        Re : Pipo M9 Max RileyROM 2.0

Strange, that's mean that we have different version of M9 WiFi? And I'm not talking about old and new PCB...

@Randy: can you also add the parameter file for 6Go to the final version of this ROM please?
                        Many thanks

                          Multi User Issue?

                          Hello,
I don't know if it's only me who's having this issue. When I add the second user, I just get the message "com.android.provision.DefaultActivity" on a black screen. Virtually not usable second user profile. Anyone else face this issue? Is something else needed to be set up? I'm using the PIPO launcher, if that matters!

                          thanks,
                          c

Try to press back or home button several times. This helped me for standard launcher.

This ROM works in my tablet like a charm, but i have some problems:

-The same problem with bluetooth keyboards that jninanyac has.

-When i use multiwindows i can hide the icon on the right of the screen, but when i come back from resting mode the icon is visible again.

I don't have any problem with Antutu or switching between apps with the multiwindows feature on, so for me is a very stable ROM. Thanks for your work Riley.

Sorry if my english isn't perfect.

After the first reboot from flashing when you want to use multi users, you need to use a rooted explorer app to remove provision.apk from the system/app folder.
