Hi kosfil. Very nice result. Did you replace the kernel.img and flash RR 2.0 with it? Or do you flash RR 2.0 first and later flash the overclocked kernel.img ONLY with RKAndroidTool?

Because i don't have cwm to only flash the kernel i flashed via the flashtool the RR 2.0 and i replaced the kernel with the oc one.All the others steps are the same and i had that impressive result.

          I'm downloading the new firmware.

I plan to put that kernel in the kit as an option.

If I understood you correctly, you had already flashed RR 2.0 before, and to get the new OC kernel, you flash RR 2.0 once again with the kernel.img replaced? So you flashed twice, first with RR 2.0 and then with RR 2.0 with OC kernel, is it correct?

It isn't necessary to flash the whole ROM. Just uncheck everything but kernel in the flash tool and flash the kernel alone.

                      Hi
I have an odd problem. After the installation of the 2.0, the system's total ram is shown to be only 1 Gb (???)
I there something I did or something that I must do?

Thanks randy. I guess the main point here is to flash RR2.0 untouched first and then later flash the kernel.img only. kosfil seems to reflashed the whole ROM with kernel.img replaced so that works too I guess, although it will unnecessarily take longer to complete I assume.

Please try to flash rr2.0 with my kernel, I got stuck on boot, had to boot with your kernel once and then flash my kernel.
Also this kernel is a lttle bit undervolted, so may be buggy on some devices. I can build an image with higher voltages for such users.

It just keeps you from having to start over loading backups. It's easy to just swap back and forth between kernels.

You can also use CWM to do it...but I haven't tried it.

My tests show that there's no need to overclock mali. Tried 768mhz mali, no noticable effect, but if 768ram with 768 mali, it gets much better, 23600 in antutu. But I guess it will drain battery.

This was with 696mhz ddr and stock mali.Riley 2.0test2 (not sure wich test number )
