Hi does anyone know if i got the above box and its firmware are other people getting a random standby mode on these boxes as mine seems to go into standby every so often half way through a film

i uploaded new camera.rk30board.so which should fix the issue in usb camera.
Please download it and copy to /system/lib/hw/

Please don't forget to check the permission of this file, it should be readable for all
the permission should be look: -rw-r--r--

reboot device, usb webcam should work.

Thank you very much. My logitech C170 camera working again.
However, the sound I get for video (tested with hangouts) is the same as a smurf. I've tried changing the sound output but nothing changes. It's actually very funny, but we can not have a normal conversation if we're laughing all the time.

Edit: I tried later with Skipe and works perfectly, both the video and sound. Then the optimization problem seems to be the hangouts. Thank you again and I sent a small donation for your work.

Having some strange behavior lately

i have mounted my nas with a script by init.d when i start a tv serie and open it with MX Player or default player the video stops randomly at different points after few minutes, and goes back to file explorer. this has never happend before

Installed 1.2.5 again with default 1080p kernel. before the reinstall, the player used to give me lockups during netflix or video's with vertical coloured greenish stripes.

very annoying, video files play fine through the popcorn hour

well first it began with the vertical stripes during videoplayback, after the striped screen the box turned off, so i flashed the kitkat 4.4 rom, that one also gave stripes so i went back to 1.2.5 without the OC kernel like i had before, now i dont have vertical stripes but videoplayback just stops and returns me to the file list.

need to test it with other PSU then, i have a 2.5 A laying around here somewhere, but it has a diff. plug so i need to put a new plug on it then.

First im gonna try a reinstall with a OC kernel again to see if that might work

ok i did some benchmarking, psu seems stable enough.....doesnt crash on stressing the thing.

i think its fixed.... not sure yet.... flashed an OC kernel in stead of the default 1080p one.... now keeps running.

could it be that the default kernel is to weak for HD video ?



And wasser, i installed that driver in /system/lib/hw and set it to -rw-r-r but camera still wont work here

Sorry, no idea what's wrong with your device...
If it first time runs fine and than not, I don't think it depends on the kernel...
I use no OC kernel with [email protected] without any problems...
But if it is now fixed, so what

it's my intention to remove my hack for setting mac address in 1.2.5. I found a better solution. You need a new flashtool which allows you to flash the static mac adress. I will upload this tool soon.
