Re: Pipo M8 Pro RileyROM 2.1
@sebastian: Do you use this RileyROM or Xposed and GravityBox or something similar on your Pipo M8 Pro?
As far as I know that can't be combined, Xposed framework works only on AOSP or near-AOSP ROMs.
One more thing: can I use TWRP recovery instead or CWM?

Pipo M8 Pro RileyROM 2.1
You need an explorer app like X-plore. Change the configuration to root read/write (Superuser) mode and copy the app to system/app. Then set permissions for rwx on all lines (644).

When i use x-plore I am able to set the confgig fine and copy app to system/app the permissions is a bit more problematic there is three boxes for read write and execute. If I select them all the permissions are in the 700 odds the only however if I select all the read boxes plus 1 write I get 644 this does not enable for me though. Thanks for your time and patience

Xposed framework works with Android in general (GingerBread (limited functionality) to KitKat), but some modules works only with some types of ROMs, there are modules for Samsung TouchWiz that dont work with Xperia ROMs, and vice versa, or modules specified for AOSP ROMs.
About TWRP, I don't know any implementation of this recovery for our M8Pro, but I think that Randy is better suited to answer this question.

I tried it, but the touch screen doesn't work for the M8 Pro, or any of the other Pipo tablets...for some reason.Randy

My ROM kit includes a template you can build a CWM flash ROM. Just follow the instructions in the txt file.
That of coarse requires that you already have CWM flashed to your tablet.Randy

We never delete anything around here. All (most, anyway) previous ROM's are still available at their posted links. The newest one is best, though. Just download it and give it a try.
It is always best to flash for the first time using a PC. CWM can't format the partitions, and file sizes vary between ROM's.Randy
