ok its your libcurl.so if i change it to the one from helix kodi 14.1 apk it start spmc ok...

Koying, can you give any hint on why this is happening with Superceleron librtmp.so and the need for the Kodi 14.1 libcurl file ?

If i update the librtmp file with his file, SPMC crashes. But if i copy the libcurl.so file from kodi 14.1 and replace the libcurl.so from SPMC, it starts OK. And works fine.

Any idea why?

Yes I'd like to know if anyone has compared spmc 14.1 to kodi helix 14.1. I only run a fire TV and a minix x8h+

I have a minix x8-h plus that I would like to test with this version of SPMC. I do have a question for you ilovemymac. With this version of SPMC are you able to get HDMI passthrough of dolby digital? So far I have not found any way to get more than stereo. Outside of SPMC or XBMC or Kodi I'm able to use the media players and can get perfect dolby digital passthrough over HDMI. I would like to know before installing SPMC again.

I haven't tested 14.1 but 13.3 and 13.4 I had no issues with actually never had an Xbmc version that didn't pass DD and DTS.

Tested 14.1 spmc on the fire TV and I get Dolby pass through.

Anyone found the correct combination for build.prop to fix the 1/4 screen issue on mk808b Plus. This runs smooth. Just 1/4 screen.

FYI, I'm running:
a T-R42 (v1) using Wasser's 1.0.4 rom (4.4.2)

Installed SPMC 14.1 last night and ended up turning off rklibstagefright.

Works great with libstagefright and mediacodec enabled, but with rklibstagefright, any videos I play cause the screen to get scrambled (also, I believe 4 panes) to the point that even shutting down SPMC doesn't restore the screen. I end up having to reset the box.

I haven't yet run into any other issues. Just putting the info out there for other rk3188 users.

I found the same problem using spmc 14.1 using minix neo x7 with the same wasser firmware with 3188. 13.4 works great. it only does it when trying to watch HD videos. SD works fine. So if I disable rklibstagefright it will work?? Kevin

I added line sys.ui.fakesize=1920x1080 along with changing overlay=1 and with a reboot all is fine. Thanks for the help.
