          By popular demand...
Most of SPMC is merged in Kodi besides the rockchip specifics.
So does this mean that for the time being, RK users should stick with 14.2 or lower?

They should stick to SPMC 15 final.

You'll have test builds next weekend.
Wow! Do you expect same, similar, or better performance compared to rklibstagefright?

              Lol @ mo123.

              Cheers!

Okay. May as well update the firmware on my stick while I'm at it. Is there a sure way to save my current addons? I've tried before and it did not work, and I figure you're the one to ask.

                I tried this: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=129499

but it does not appear to have worked when I did. Maybe I can try again.

And I now realize why this release is better than previous. I had stopped using rklsf in favor of mediacodec anyway.

                  sdcard/android/data/com.semperpax.spmc/files/.spmc/userdata
It's a hidden folder, so you need root access to access it.
ES File Manager works quite good.

That's what I thought. Of course I'm rooted, it's the first thing I do. Nice! Thanks! And thanks for Koying and SPMC, I really like this fork the best.

And ...that failed. Took about an hour or two to get back to where it was. Much of that was moving the files around and getting nothing after reboot. Used root explorer and file manager in spmc itself (special://userdata). Oh well. Still in business.

OH COOL. This version fixes the missing PIL library issue.

If your listening Koying, thank you very much.

Silly question, but does this work on android 4.1 Jellybean? I know kodi 14.1 and 15 aren't compatible with jellybean. The last version of SPMC worked great on my tablet (android jellybean os, hisense sero 7 lt).
