Generally, the Pro version was a whole new build. Different wifi, different touch screen, other different parts.Randy

I don't now how good Kitkat build for M6 Pro will work using a M6 Max kernel build + some libraries.
I could give it a try, but I am afraid I will see fire! :P. I am sure the PIPO guys have estrange dependencies :P

I thought was only the GPS with same SOC.
What could happen trying to flash the PRO Kitkat M6 in the M6 Max? Has anyone tried?
Thanks.
That being said, I'm would be happy to be the guinea pig. I was able to re-flash back to Jellybean with no problems.

Testing a little to see how many thing doesn't work.
rilley can confirm if the Wifi module is build-in the kernel or a module. (I don't have the PIPO M6 now, so I cannot check it).

The problem is that you can't run a kitkat ROM with a jellybean kernel. Until someone builds a kitkat kernel, unfortunately....kitkat is a no go.Randy

1.3?
hi,
I just re flashed riley rom 1.3, cos i was nearly binned the tablet, it was so slow and laggy wit v1.9 and 2.0 even with over clocked kernel... was totally useless after 15-20 mins....
is frontier much better, quicker?

I also tried installing CrossBreeder, but it's still very slow while browsing.
