I found one from their website but the time zone does not works so it renders my guide programming to UTC time .

I installed the Rom and i love the speed
one small question is there anyway to support the mouse mode of the remote so we do not have to plug in a mouse ?
The new remotes that come with the M6 has that functionality but is no longer available after the 1.4 rom install.

I did not change anything there from the stock M6 ROM from 0908.

I will look into it though as I did not test the remote with it. It might be a simple KL file set.

Great rom! Could you please figure out a way to get mouse mode working again on remote? Now on clicking it pops up the screen in right bottom corner with wifi info etc. Thx

720p/1080p

I changed from stock rom to finless rom and the to the pure linux build for the m6 and then back to finless. Just to see and compare. I mainly use it for xbmc and 2 advantages the linux build has it's supporting airplay, both audio and video and you are able to set xbmc to 1080p in settings. About the airplay it is a nice feature, but I guess future xbmc versions (Gotham will support it) so no problem. But the ability to set xbmc to 1080p is not available in stock or finless rom. I was wondering why that is and if there is a way to achieve it? Is it rom related, because I read somewhere if the system default output is 720p then xbmc will also be only set to 720p and no option to change that. Also will this affectv 1080p video playback within xbmc because it is upscaled? Thanx.

It's the android kernel. The kernel is a 720P kernel. But there is a 1080P kernel available from Geniatech. If you use that kernel you should get true 1080P. The pure Linux kernel is a 1080P kernel.

Also my ROMs do not flash bootloader so you should never hard brick and should always be able to recover without making a special SDcard and shorting pins.

So just try the ROM and see! Just make sure you have a ROM to go back to.

Sorry been super busy with other stuff.

Remind me what ROM the remote worked in? All we should need is some .kl and other files from that ROM and it should work.
