yes it works , Ugoos is for sure the only one , with workin OTA , BUT not

so often as sometimes needed or wanted , for sure not a bad choice ,

Any 1st steps, extra steps, or special advice for "moving-in" from the n6, or M8S Pro?

Should I go from scratch, or let Google handle the bulk of it?
Does the device or you have a sequence of priority, etc. which supports a smoother more stable set-up?

"Tards" question...How to move a complete TitaniumBackup over to new box? Never had much luck, I must be exacuting the nand-BkUp wrong for starters.
Would the titan-BkUp from the rockCp be useless, as compared the s912Aml?
... As far as migrating the individual app settings? Just trying to get a baseline install done to save a little infinite tweaking time. Thanks!

dont think that you get Problems with TB between two different SOCs , for Data & OBB Backup i always copy the whole "Android" Folder to SD ,

then to new Device & then restore TB , so no need to download obb Files again , reboot and try , a Backup on SD or PC is always good ,

Also bought the MX3 MX3-L Backlit Air Mouse Smart Voice Control 2.4G RF Wireless Keyboard Remote Voor X96 mini T9 A95X H96 MAX Android TV Box.

Its a Great Player, never gonna buy a Minix again.


I got a few small problems with setting it up:


I bought Nova Launcher Prime a long time ago.
Root is enabled.

Updated the Box to latest UGOOS 9.0 v0.2.1 update.

But I can't add widgets to my Home screen with Nova Launcher... Or drag & drop app shortcuts..

Stock Launcher works.
Niagara Launcher also.

Any Idea?

And YouTube isn't installed & want to use YouTube Vanced.

Which YouTube Vanced module should I use?

Tried the latest Root v7a and V8a White / Black version.

Can't install them...

Which architecture is this box?

Also use a paid VPN service, Wifi is secure & stable, Ethernet drops the connection?

Is this a UGOOS bug?

I know what is causing Nova to not work with widgets, will try to send Ugoos a bug report.
All Amlogic devices are 32-bit, so you can use the arm(not rm64) versions of Youtube Vanced, MicroG.
SmartYoutubeTV also works well.

You can also upgrade to v0.2.2 firmware to fix the ethernet bug with VPN.
Here is AndroidTV v0.2.2 but you must flash through a PC with a USB-USB cable.

There is actually an even newer firmware.

The first one is for flashing from a PC.
The second firmware, ota, you can copy onto a USB drive and point the Ugoos Updater app to it and then it will update on the device itself without a PC or downloading the ota manually which is not available at the moment until more people test this new firmware I heard.

This is the normal Android firmware, not AndroidTV.
