So there is an audio problem with my current builds. Bugger

Anyone else reporting audio problems?

as far as i can tell would be nice if someone with same stick can confirm (tronsmart mk908II) with aerial).

Theres also no options for hdmi audio or other like ive seen before (this doesnt mean im right)

When doing any flashing its always best to wipe caches to make sure no resident kernel stuuf remains

I have a TWRP that works great! I modified Abdul_pt's to work on TV sticks and can be flashed with ROMs so SDcard etc is formatted. I also removed kernel so it should work on any 3188 stick.

Stay tuned, it will be in a new KK ROM soon.

Ok, I've gone back to a kernel from yesterday. Tested the audio and it works.

I copy the .config from it back to my working directory, rebuilt without change and .... audio doesn't work.

I guess I broke something when I started messing with the sources for a tablet build

So, for now, until I unwind my code changes, i suggest we pause this thread.

NB. Video playback is also affected in these builds, compared to the one I had yesterday, no doubt it is all connected. I guess I need two stacks, one for tablets, and one for TV boxes/sticks.

Fortunately Bob has good kernels with audio for the builds he's currently working on so all not lost!

i think there is an issue with tablet mode or how this kernel identifies the device as on launching spotify total screen corruption occurs. Now spotify has extra functionality on tablet eg not just shuffle. On my atrix i use tabletmetrics xposed frameworks script to gain this functionality. Which spotify had wized up to once but has been overcome but there is definatley code in current version to check. So my guess is the kernel needs more tablet identity switches to get this right. Finless kk has no spotify issues......may help may not

Let me know if this works for wifi - I can't get the combo_chip compiled in yet. You'll need to make sure the ko libs are in your system/lib/modules dir
