Ugoos UT1 - wasser firmware - KiKat Android 4.4.2

For what it's worth I installed this on my UT1 last night. Had one freeze and reboot while restoring apps but apart from that everything I need seems to be working. I noticed that the CPU was maxed out at all times (according to android tuner app) so dialed back the minimum CPU frequency a bit and it did not crash.

I'm happy to keep testing and keep you up to date with my observations if it means you will continue to support this rom.

ps: i recommend everyone not to overclock the hardware, it causes instabilty and random reboot!

Cheers. I'll keep the rom installed for the time being and keep you posted on my observations. Let me know if there is anything in particular I should look for.

Wasser i think there are a lot of people, who just download your firmware and are not active on the forums. I also think a lot of people are very grateful for the firmware of the ut1 the just do not post about or even have an account.

Anyway i hope you continue your great work for the ut1.

the zip contains 'wasser-firmware-um2-1.0.1.img' - i flashed it but i is rebooting all the time - maybe it is the wrong file within the zip?

Is the right firmware attached for the ut1 1.01

The firmware i get after unpack is wasser-firmware-um2-1.01.img in a ut1 1.0.1 folder.

And after booting i get a wasser logo but the device is stuck on that.

First impressions.

Hi Wasser,
The first look on this rom is great, but I have some issues:

RkRemote app doesn't find the UT1.
Yelo (tv streaming app here in Belgium) crashes when starting up.
It worked on all your other roms...

So for the moment I'm going back to another rom.

Keep up the good work!
