Is this the correct version of the new kernel?

yes, it's the correct kernel. Please take time and test it and let me know if the random crash is gone.
It's very important for me. I plan to release 1.0.3 soon.

It would be great if anyone can test this kernel and give feedbacks! i

    thanks

Hello there. I flashed this firmware on ITaSee IT808 which is identical as Ugoos UT1 as far as I know. My problem with external hard drives got worse. It connects and just after disconnects. I googled and added USB hub to connect , also changed Power Settings of Seagate drive but no way...Is there a solution to fix it??

I couldn't comment as I know nothing about your device. This has been tailored for the UT1 and if your device is different, even slightly, then you can't expect the dev to support it. I haven't seen anyone else complain about this issue so there's something wrong somewhere....

I don't think it is a software problem too, I just wanted to have a solution. I will try with an external powered USB hub

Apparently these units don't supply enough power to run a USB powered hard drive. I raised this a while ago. Search the forums.

                      hello,

i can not try - because there is no change for me to do the steps - because the box reboots all the time as mentioned before - only 2 remote commands freeze and reboot...

maybe i can test 1.0.3 for you upfront?

                      best regards

                        hello,

i used the 1.37 tool and flushed only the new kernel and so far the box is not freezing and rebooting - i keep testing

                        best regards

I am using the original kernel without any problems at all. Is the new kernel for 3188T chips? Mine's a 3188 and capable of running at higher speeds.
I have to say that this is perfect so far. I can't test Ethernet address sticking after boot yet. This is fantastic so far. Thanks Wasser

                            hello,

where did you get the kernel from?

@wasser - i use beyond xbmc 3.4 but my live tv - is not smooth at all with the new kernel (from your post before) - i have freezers on video and audio.

                            best regards

Wasser posted it a couple of pages back. I was just letting him know that I didn't need to use it. All good as it is.....

                                Still crashing with new kernel

                                Hi Wasser

My unit is still crashing with the new kernel.

                                Any ideas?

Should I try reinstalling the whole rom? Is there a crash report I can access?
