Hi Wasser

Very fast and smooth rom, but unfortunately I'm getting frequent lock-ups. Sometimes it only stays up for less than a minute before freezing and rebooting.

Any clues as to why?

But , I found a issue , the cifsmanager won't working correctly , mounted directories were empty...
I tried again , "device or resource busy" ...

I found this http://tieba.baidu.com/p/2810267450 , pls ignore the Chinese part. Is that the reason?

i have the same issue - the box is always rebooting - i'm not able to get to the menu/settings/... once the box is up i can only hit the remote 2 times and box freezes and than reboots...

I got the same issue. tried to flash 3 times, still the same.

hi wasser,

there is not a lot - i hope i can make wrong.

1) start the tool
2) choose the downloaded fw file
3) hit restore
3.a) tried upgrade as well

box will do some format - (strange i think is already that a message appears that the sdcard can not be mounted/device not correct or so?) after the flash.

but than box is starting/rebooting on its own couple of times till i get the android screen but than i can only push twice till reboot..

hope this makes sense?

if you need any debugging - i can provide if instructed (germany -> austria should not be complicated all speak german...)

Ok, dumb question:
How do I delete app icons from the home screen (on the default launcher)?

Long pressing doesn't seem to offer a delete option...

press and move the icon to the top and middle, the icon will be red

Thanks, but that wasn't working. I figured out that disabling the Google search bar also disabled the ability to delete icons. Reactivating the search bar restored that function.

My unit is still freezing regularly. It's getting to the point of being very frustrating because it is very unpredictable.

All I'm after its a stable unit that plays videos stutter-free. It seems that with this thing you can have one if you sacrifice the other.

This firmware plays video beautifully, but crashes too regularly.

Other firmwares are super-stable, but the video is unwatchable. Why I'd this the case?
