I use 1700 CPU, hou stock, 720 ram kernel
Thanks a lot for your view mate. Looks like it is a must then, as the current Minix firmware plays up from time to time.

For some reason the RK Android Tool can't find my device, despite it being connected to my PC and detected by the Rockchip batch tool. Any advice?

The rom is stable and working great, is there any update on DTS/DD audio passthrough for XBMC on this rom?

Are you using a computer with USB 3.0?

Yes but easily fixable. Close the program and open the setting.INI file that is below it. Change the 0 on the 10th line to a 1 so should be SUPPORTUSB11=1. Save that file and then reopen the program. RKAndroidTool.exe should now see the box.

                      I see you already solved
Note to everyone, i've been reported that some microusb cables become faulty. If anyone tries to flash and the box is not recognized, just try another cable.

Ps: is "cable" the correct word or do i must say "wire"? #learningenglish :P

Great work! Fixed screen artifacts which I had on oo8 stock. Quickshot v2 with 1080p 1708/798/720 kernel runs great without any sh*t on screen and it scores 20250 antutu and gets 3400 3D graphics which is nice. I keep my x7 (not mini) on cooling pad, but nothing changed, its just slightly warm. Even on demanding games its jus a bit warm, nothing more. Thanks

Cable is good. The mini uses a cable with a full sized USB on both ends as the mini does not have the micro port.

Is it just me, or does the ROM seem a tad slow on 1080p?
