Hi, newbie here! I just bought a clone called X5 ii (http://www.bee-link.com/goods.php?id=50). It has the same specs as the minix x7-mini.

Will this ROM work on my device ?

Sorry, we don't know wifi, Ethernet and bt are the same and if some internal harware is.

Yes. If you have your xbmc configured use xbmc backup pluggin to keep your settings.

Like daemonium said, we dont have that device, we ported the rom to X7 mini without the device and we had problems because we cant test it properly, is very hard to solve problems without the device

Like daemonium said, we dont have that device, we ported the rom to X7 mini without the device and we had problems because we cant test it properly, is very hard to solve problems without the device

I too have the CWM characters off the edge of the screen, and a zoom adjustment worked for me until reboot...

Made sure the TV is saving the required zoomed setting.

Something to do with HDMI settings in rom/kernal???

EDIT- Must be the TV. Resets after turningTV off and doing nothing else...
EDIT 2 - Found a setting 'auto format' set to auto. Set to off - problem solved.

Usually all tvs have zoom adjustment, but there is some old LCD tvs that can't zoom properly, i have one of them

ethernet configuration

I've installed this ROM on my X7 Mini and it is working very well! Though, I am trying to set a static ip address for ethernet and can not seem to save my settings. I can set all the fields but there is no save button and when I leave the menu, nothing is saved. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a work around?

try to play from the internal sdcard, i have a theory.. :P

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I did some testing, and the slight stuttering is the same whether I play the file from the sdcard (NTFS) or USB HDD. I also played the file on my PC to confirm it's not a file issue. Also, I confirmed when I view videos in my NFL Gamepass app on my Samsung Note 2 LTE and PC, there is no stutter. But on my Minix, you can see the slight stutter (for instance when there is a news ticker scrolling at the bottom. On the Note 2, ipad, and PC, the ticker scrolls smoothly whereas on the Minix, ticker moves across screen with a slight jerking motion.) I have tried various OC'ed kernels but there is no change. The videos are watchable but occasionally I'll see these small stutters.

i'm afraid i can't since we are not compiling xbmc from sources. What we do is just a mod. Sorry i can't help

Are you playing from internal sdcard?
i'm asking thiw because you say : I play the file from the sdcard (NTFS) or USB HDD.
And this makes me think you are playing from external, since internal is not ntfs.
