      Features?

I really prefer the TNT ROM to the "official" Minix ROMs - the overlay seems to be ridiculous. The last Minix release says it contains the "final" Minix XBMC version - so are we going to get the "final" if we're not running the stock ROM?

The only downside I've seen to Quickshot V2 is that I can't get my webcam to work. I assume webcam support was part of the "bloat" that was removed? I use the webcams streamed as part of my security system. Is there any way to put this support back?

Thanks for all the hard work - much appreciated!!

I get the score of 19900 with cpu-1700 GPU-standard DDR-700! runs very well!

was your webcam working ok with the original firmware? webcam support is just a driver in the kernel and the only change we did to the kernel is the overclock and the resolution change.
Maybe you need the minix Skype app, if i remember well is in the apps pack at the first page of this thread.

About the xbmc, actually we found beyond xbmc better than the minix version, have you tried it?

Webcam was working with original firmware. I'll play with it a bit more. Haven't tried Beyond XBMC - will do that this weekend!

Mystery of webcam solved! It was in the front USB port, which I know is a reported issue. Plug cam into back USB port, no problems!

Could you indulge a newbie for one last question? I want to use NFS for the fastest streaming from my media pc. I've learned a lot about how to do it, but can't make it work. I can't find the right .ko modules for NFS. Are they there, or left out? Any way to put my hands on those?

Thanks again, guys. First rate work!!

you may find this post interesting, nfs is built in the kernel so you don't need any extra modules http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post134515

You can enter in recovery mode pushing your reset button, maintain it pressed, and then push power button. Wait 4 or five seconds.
Make this process without otg USB port connected.

                          Magnification

Hi all Nitro Team and all followers...
I'm very new on minix, i've received my x7 2 days ago, and start to try custom ROMs from Quickshot, i like much this ROM, everything seams to be ok for my needs (also installed Beyond XBMC), i found only one hitch: i use a modded version of skygo (because in Italy sky have a partnership with samsung and all other android user are frozen out), which does not allow full screen, so in my tablet I solve activating Settings->Accessibility->Magnification gestures options, this option is missing on tv stick firmware, how can I bypass this? Ther's some app that can help me? Thanks to all
