How you build castom mod for Minix x7 mini?

I am noob to Android platform and modding at all (but with software developer expirience).

I would like to read which steps you perform and which tools you use in order to build mod.

Is that info usually private among modders?

Can you share relevant your posts or blog articles or github/etc project pages?

Not a secret, in first post we said that we use the 008 stock firmware from minix like the base, and then we add all the stuff we considere useful.

We have our own kitchen, but basically the steps are the same.

We don't have any things hide, all tweaks, scripts and option we added can be studied unpacking the rom.

That's a little more difficult, you need to decompile that apk and look for the splash screen image. Tip: there are two splash screens.

If he doesn't mind doing it manually he can go to root data/data/hk.minix.xbmc/cache/apk/assets/media and change the splash.png there. He only needs to change the one, the other is for the install.

Yes. They both use the same in quickshot roms.

I changed my SystemUI.apk over to the one you mod'ed onto my NEO x7 ... it looks great. Thanks TVDroid.
