Fake MK809III = CX919II

Hi, I have opened a thread in the CX919-J22 section, but this one is just to let you know that if your MK809III has no working wifi and bt with this Neomode Beta, I managed to make it work this way:

Try this rom:
cx919ii_rk3188_dongle_ap6210_131226.img here:

if it works, do as follows:
flash an hybrid rom using
- boot.img
- kernel.img
- misc.img
- recovery.img
- RK 3188 Loader 1.24
from the up mentioned rom

system.img from the Neomode 2.1 Beta

On my fake mx809III it works flawlessly @720p, WiFi and Bluetooth OK.

Try 2.0 and overclock the kernel with the overclockomatic tool.

Nop, you have to download the rom, and overclock the kernel by using the tool. There is one kernel on this forum, but wifi doesn't work.

Another different MK809III

well i have just had a mk809III delivered and it has the Mediatek wifi-chip in it.

I have downloaded a original rom and i get the wifi working again.

So i thought i would use RX3XXX tools to extract the kernel and replace it with finless rom / neo rom.

After all that still no wifi,WTF

How different are all these mk809III's

I just thought it would just be easy to replace the working wifi kernel with the one in the rom, how wrong i was.

Any ideas guys

Presently neomode sick so the final is delayed.

There really mostly just cosmetic issues with this one its otherwise very stable.

Yes that is right. Only Cosmetic issue.
Will see that I can fix it out of Beta on weekend.

Other then that it run perfectly and can use sam321 overclocking kernels .
