Default sound to mediatek
Hi all,
in my 802IV with 3188-t I have some flickering but the most annoying thing is that sound defaults not to HDMI but to Mediatek (it comes from my F-10 pro) so each time I power the thingie up I have to go to settings and change it.
Any chance to solve it?
Neomode: you suggested using DDR overclock, I tried to use sam overclocked with 1.7 but to no avail;should I try it with this 2.1 just putting the overclocked kernel in place of yours?
Thank you
RKMan

I make this firmware to use old kernels with T CPU.

For me the the screen now doesen't go on and off every 2 sec; but for every overclocked kernel I have an image distorting problem (lesser in 1080p and overclocking the gpu)...
Neo 2.1 in combination with oc by Sam works really good but black screen coming and going every 2 sec.
Neo 1.9 with no overclock instead is very stable and with no lags: but I am sad without overclock..
P.S. Gianca stesso problema qui..con la Rikomagic 802IV e proc. 3188-T

Ok, after A LOT of tribulation, i had found a configuration that (probably) have stopped every major problem in video playback.
This is my config:
MK809III v2 (AP6210 and RK3188, not the "T" one)
Neomode Custom Rom 2.1
Kernel included in the NCR, overclocked with rkpatchomatic, with CPU freq steps, in GHz: 1.00,1.20,1.42,1.60,1.80,1.92 GPU freq set to 798 Mhz and DDR set to 800 Mhz (that with DDR, i guess, it's an effective 1600 MHz)
This is what i get in Antutu, but i had to clock the cpu to 1,2 Ghz min/1,8 Ghz max because at 1,92 was unstable...
Anyway, i can give you the modded kernel, or the rkpatchomatic source file i've changed.
I'm testing it now, with the largest 1080p movie i got, attached to the TV's usb, from a 3TB HDD... and so far it is going really nice!
Bye guys!Overclocked Kernels for Neomode's roms -> [KERNEL][AP6210] Overclocked kernels for Neomode ROMs (2.1/2.0/1.9a/1.7)

I've noticed that the flickering was probably caused by an insufficient power source... i'm buying a 3A PSU then, just to be sureOverclocked Kernels for Neomode's roms -> [KERNEL][AP6210] Overclocked kernels for Neomode ROMs (2.1/2.0/1.9a/1.7)
