the only problem i can find on the beta is that the Nordic app, VIAPLAY does not give me the HD quality? it is very blurry.
anything you might know that can fix this?

Great job Neo. But what about the problem with the screen going black for a second from time to time? On my mk802iv at least.

The ram and cpu i had no proablems over clocking with sam321 kernels.

The gpu i just never bother with since the benifit is frankly pointless compared to the heat and trouble.

Its not like a pc video card where you can get real world results you can see .
The hardware just doesn't allow for enough boast to see any benfit.
Maybe with massive colling and serious tinkering but really for what useable benfit.

I found any video playback is more to do with the player and codecs then it is to to with the gpu horse power most of the time.
I stream with plex and have flawless playback.

I found a huge bug in this ROM. My ext SD card n ext HDD kept unmounting, I have to remount ext SD card in settings every time it happens but can't remount HDD (must reboot instead). It's a huge problem because I stored my obb data,media on HDD using directorybind n i switched internal SD to ext SD for more app storage.

On other unrelated note, I got a score of 19536 on this ROM using sams 1800mhz kernel. WiFi,Bluetooth work no flicking reboot , though no touchscreen module

I have a mk809iii with RK3188T and AP6210 (1352) - green mainboard

I tried flashing Neomode 1.9a but have no wifi signal.
Screen is ok though.
I then moved to Neomode 2.1 beta and wifi works BUT the screen blacks out every 2 - 5 seconds continously, making it unusuable.
I tried utilising other kernels ( SAM 720 no oc and ram oc and 1.7 1000mhz versions ) all to no avail.

The problem does lie in the kernel because when I flash a sam kernel to neomode 1.9a , the blackouts appear there as well.
Can someone point me a kernel with proper video output ?

a Rom which does work ( but too slow for spmc to work properly - probably no libstagefright support ? ) is the latest official Rikomagic RKM802IV ( newer models )

tried it, it boots , no blackout but no wifi eiher ( similar like the 1.9a rom)

Hey Magnus33, i found something strange. Using the 2.1 rom, i checked the ram speed, and i found that whatever sam's kernel i choose, the ram score at antutu stays round 920-930, the dvfs tree reads the oced ram freq but the speed stays the same. The ram oc it's fake for our sticks.
Could you try it for yourself and tell me?
So we have 2 problems now! No gpu oc and no real benefit from ram oc!

Fortunately this seems to have to been already addressed in the blacklist cpu thread i believe.

I found that lowering the cpu freq/ncy, boosts the ram score. try it. i used lowes 1200 and highest 1600 mhz and i took 1020 cpu speed score.
Does anyone knows why is this happening and how to fix it?

Hello,

Here is my new Rom for the MK809III. This is a Quick Rom.
All is Working but somethings are Missing.
This Rom Works for the MK802IV and the MK809III with new Wifi.
Also i can Confirm that the Rom Works on RK3188T and RK3188.
I included Sam321 Kernel with FullHD. The T Cpu will run on 1.6 Ghz !!
Please test it and Report back.
