*gasp* I FIXED IT!!! For some reason, going into stock recovery and clicking "format /media" fixed it, but factory reset didn't. In case anyone else runs into this issue.

Factory reset doesn't do anything but wipe data and cache...

Doing a factory reset is the exact same as doing wipe data followed by wipe cache...

Sounds like it was your "internal" SD card partition that was messed up.

For whatever reason the format media fixed it, but not data. I'm guessing that they are different mounts, and media is where the flash storage and sdcard mount.

You are correct... media refers to /sdcard (internal SD Card)

the external SD Card is mounted inside the internal one at /sdcard/external_sdcard

Hey, does anyone else's tablet randomly turn the screen off? By that I mean the backlight is still there and it will not sleep out wake from sleep.

This is a common problem on Amlogic hardware, although I have not experienced it myself. I would consider first checking your sleep settings for both screen and wifi.

You can probably learn more by searching through the Ainol forums at slatedroid or googling amlogic and wake from sleep, wake lock or sleep of death.
