Thank you for all you do. Totally going to click your Donate button this weekend when I get paid!

If so, then I would guess your data partition is corrupted and I would consider wiping it, formatting it, and then reinstalling apps and settings manually.

So... wait.
My tablet turns on and loads two different loading screen before getting stuck on the screen with the lady wearing the headphones. Then stays like that forever. That is what I am calling bricked. Is that the same kind of bricked you are referring to?

Your tablet isn't bricked, it's boot looping. The boot animation is supposed to play until it finishes booting, but something keeps crashing and it just keeps trying over and over until you turn it off or the battery dies.
You should try booting into recovery. Any recovery, internal stock 3e, modded 3e on external SD, or CWM on external SD.
If you can get to recovery, we just need to determine what ROM you need to flash to fix yours.
If you can't get to recovery mode, then you'll still need an unbrick kit, unless you've got hardware damage.

I think you've got the the other board and will probably need an unbrick kit, a different recovery version, and a new ROM to get it working properly.

I am experiencing a bootloop, exactly like acidgirltogo, in bold in the quote below. I CAN boot into recovery, both stock and your modified version. I just cannot boot into CWM, which I was hoping to use to make a backup and, using that backup, find out what went wrong during the tweaking process. Sorry for any confusion.
CWM should boot... considering internal stock 3e and my modified stock 3e are visually identical, I'd bet the modified stock 3e is failing also but properly reverting back to internal stock 3e instead of hanging like CWM.
That would explain why signature verification is still failing for you.
Unfortunately, I don't know what else to try for you, until I get the unbrick kit released. The unbrick kit should force everything to boot properly because it will boot ENTIRELY from external SD and also prepare your tablet to be completely reflashed. You'll still be able to ATTEMPT a backup before flashing.

I'd guess it could be anywhere between 500MB and 6GB total.

I won't support flashing custom recovery internally on Amlogic hardware for the following reasons:- It's not necessary when you can boot from external SD.
- Keeping the internal stock recovery will ensure you can still install official updates, if one is ever released by the manufacturer.
- For some reason, wiping data, cache and media using the internal stock recovery is sometimes the only thing that works to get everything working correctly when partitions get corrupted.

Originally posted by shaunmt View PostThis thread contains links to CWM Recovery with UBIFS support for Amlogic based Nextbook Tablets. These are built from CM10 source, with Amlogic and UBIFS support forked from the Github repos of Christian Troy and Librehat. Thanks to both of them for sharing their source code! I plan to publish my Nextbook changes, once I learn more about the use of Github.
I will be adding custom versions to this thread for additional tablet models as I get them compiled and packaged with the proper kernels, etc.
Please make sure you download the correct version for your device!
While some versions may work on other tablets, differences such as partition layouts that are hard coded into the kernel could cause a flash to fail and brick your tablet. Because of this, I can not support the use of a custom recovery on a device that it was not intended for.
These files will be named in the format: "model"-"board"-CWM.zip
Verify these entries in your stock build.prop before downloading: ro.product.model and ro.product.board
Installation:
1. Download the appropriate version for your device below
2. Unzip the downloaded file
3. Remove the uImage_recovery file and place it in the root level of your external SD Card
4. Insert External SD Card in your device
5. Power on device while holding volume-
6. PERFORM A BACKUP!!! This will backup everything except your bootloader.

Rebooting to recovery from within Android will always default to the internal recovery.
CWM can by booted from external SD card by holding the button combination.
I'm not planning to support installing CWM internally.
See my previous post in this thread for a list of reasons.
