Is there a miniclip game I can download free from Google Play to debug?

I will check for you. I get most of my games from Amazon because they are cheaper. The game Fragger is the one that quit working for me at the moment and I got it as a free "download of the day" game. Since it was free to me at the time, do you think it would be fine if I send you the APK?

It is playing fine for me!

However something I did not tell you all yet. Chainfire 3D works on this ROM so I do have that installed. I will see what happens when I remove it.

open termanel
su
umount udisk
if this fails something is still using usb
prob is although this stops remounting errors (few times would only remount as r/o) you still get the please unmount before removing error steange as file explorer canot see the drive any more and all other mount issues are fixed

I tried that last night myself. But your doing it wrong.

OPen terminal
type su and you should get #
type
# umount /mnt/udisk

You wont get an error. You can see it is unmounted by doing

# mount

It will list all the mounts and udisk is now gone. So it does unmount it! However when you unplug it, yes you still get the error on the status bar. BUT the good news is it doesnt hurt the memory stick now because it was unmounted.

I have tried to find how this works and clearly it is missing from the Cube system. I will work on it more later.

it only fails if something has usb in use i.e file explorer running in background pointed at udisk other than that it works fine for me without adding the /mnt this was always the same on linux using the umount command if anything is using the disk at the time of request it will report fail i checked with mount to see if the device had in fact unmounted before i posted origional post sorry for any confusion

I have fixed the other game issues that came up.

There will be a ROM 2.0B posted soon. Again I will provide an system.img update like I did for 2.0A so people do not have to download the full ROM kit.

Stay tuned after a few folks test it.

Backup of Apps

Thank you Gamer819 about the using ESTask Manager.

I did the backup, but i suppose i should have copied them to my pc before flashing???

I did not copy them any where and then could not fine them, maybe i have learnt some thing.

I updated the ROM and im impressed with.

try umount -a if what you want is to unmount everything.
Just an idea, but it's what I do before rebooting

He just want to release a USB memory stick. The problem is, on the Anorva ROM it gives you the ablility through a menu to do that. This Cube system (and other honeycomb systems) do not have that facility which is strange! It does have a menu to unmount sdcard and tells you it's OK to remove the hardware. If we use a terminal emulator and unmount /udisk, it does unmount the USB stick but when you pull it out you still get an error ont he satatus bar that the USB stick was removed improperly.

So it is not just a unmount thing. There must be some other hardware detach thing. Petrus, if I figure it out I may need you to write me a simple APK.

Remove status bar icons

Firstly Massive thanks for all the hard work that has been put into this ROM. Love the boot screen and the included wallpapers.

Ok i was just wondering if there is a way to hide some of the status bar icons such as the bluetooth icon and the signal indicator. Also is it possible to change the string values for the volume control to just 'volume' rather than 'Ringtone volume'. I love the arnova and want it to feel like it is a tablet and not a phone.

some more experiences having used the 2.0B rom for a little longer. I think moving around the system, menu's starting apps etc maybe isnt as quick - you get the feeling that the system is doing a little more behind the scenes. As its a step up though, i dont think thats an unusual, or a bad thing. Apps themselves run well, multitasking i think is better handled - in all roms (stock and Bobs marvelous series of customs), while listening to music and browsing always leads to some audio skips. The only combo where this was minimised was poweramp and boat browser. It seems boat browser is just a little bit less processor/memory hungry. Even trying to change the priority of the music player, and its buffer size - didnt really help. With this new rom - the skips do happen, but less so i think, and after a couple of skips they do get less frequent. This isnt to do with Bobs roms i dont think, rather a limitation of multitasking and hardware resources. But all in all i think this feels like a much more grown up serious rom, its nicer to use. I also think the audio sounds better, i dont know if Bob is using the stock audio libraries? But to me the audio is nicer. Video seems as it was - which was always excellent with mx video player in 32 bit mode. So i think this rom is a great evolution, i wouldnt really join with the crowd and say its lightening fast- because Bobs previous roms were fast anyway, i think stability is just as important as speed. So for me, yeah ill be sticking with it i think - unless i run across a major software compatability clash that i cant work round, it feels like a nice upgrade, and many praises as always have to go to Bob for bringing these enhancements to the G2, truely brilliant work Bob :-)

One thing i dont like (and this just how the evolution of the roms has gone), when i flip between screens i see a border - the border of the previous and next screens. i understand this is by design, and is part of the design of the interface - but jeez its annoying lol any suggestions on how to disable this? if possible?
