Kitkat Kernels for All (well most!)

Still won't boot sometimes. It booted properly 9 out of 12. I'd be happy to help testing some more. If I'm doing something wrong let me know.

Edit: It might be a feeling, but it seems to me that this kernel is booting up a lot more than with kernel 3.0 I tried yesterday.

As it seems, this kernel boots for me every time. Wifi and BT are working. The Google TV logo is now in the middle of the screen. Screen Zoom is working.

The device freezes at the "A finless bob rom MINIX" boot-up text. However the bootup text is now centered.

For now the previous "kernel_t_AP6210-alt_HD_v310.img" seems to be working best for me. Altough this kernel does not always boot, it does boot a lot more often than the 3.0 version.

I find it rather strange that this kernel is working perfectly for you Max One while this one freezes on boot as we both have the same device. Do you have a RK3188-T?

@d33, I believe we do. I am using the boot.img that came with the "ap6210_kitkat_finless20_beta2" ROM.

Without the fixed Bootimage u will get A finless bob rom MINIX and u are stuck at boot. U need the fix image roooii and it will work like mine

Edit: Flashed the boot720.img and reflashed kernel "kernel_t_AP6210-alt_SD_v310a". I can confirm it's booting now.

Yes ur right. If u use a 720 boot image u have to use a 720p kernel, same for 1080 bootimage -> 1080p kernel.

Max One, one last question. Did you test both the 3.10a version and the 3.10 version? Or just the 3.10a? How is the 3.10 version working for you?

The 3.10 version seems to be booting up all the time for me aswell now.
