no, you don´t have to go back to stock ROM but read always thread 1 posted by Randy just to make sure you don´t act to easily flashing any ROMs. Have fun with that really good ROM compiled by Randy.

You don't have to flash the stock ROM before flashing a custom ROM. I don't know where that thinking was ever started, it just isn't necessary. But you do need to do your homework first. Make sure you flash the loader along with the ROM if you are flashing a KitKat ROM. In this case, Pipo updated the loader, too...so I advise flashing the new loader with this ROM.Randy
