What Okay I have the s89 Not the elite one with 1.2 Finless Rom and the ethernet doesn't connect, can anyone who has this box confirm that? Or try it to connect and see if it get connected on his Rom?

What this means? ??I don't see any PHY at the options I see select eth0 but the ethernet doesn't connect?

Updated the FAQ a little, but there is still things I know that I'm forgetting to add.

Google Play Store Paid Apps
Currently the firmware supplied by geekbuying (04/08/14) does not allow paid apps to be installed. This has been reported and new firmware will be released soon.
You can restore paid apps using Titanium Backup to your device, it appears they work just fine this way. (Thanks roolmapoo

Do you know ADB?
1a. Connect device via micro-USB-cable at OTG-Port at the device with your PC
1b. Plug power to your device (maybe starts up automatically)
Because I'm not receive my device until now, I'm not sure, if this is available by default:
1c. Settings -> [SYSTEM] Developer options -> Enable USB debugging
(If not you have to klick more than once at "Settings -> [System] -> About device -> [Build number:]" to enable it)
(reboot)

2. Install (like for the amlogic_tools) via moborobo the needing driver at PC
(http://www.tronsmart.eu/downloads/)

Because I'm not receiving my device until now, I'm not sure, if this version works:

Maybe it isn't enabled at the settings?

Because I'm not receive my device until now, it is very difficult to help you, but I will try it.

At my rk3188 this works (because it has root-access)

adb shell dmesg

if it also work at you (see a lot of output), try this

adb shell dmesg > dmesg.log

and attache the 'dmesg.log'
