Yes, it can play blue ray ISO file.

What if blue ray is not ripped to ISO. I am asking if I can connect a USB blue ray drive to the S89-H and play a blue ray disk directly without ripping to ISO first.

I just talked to Geekbuying and they met a few bugs in the software that they are straightening out and will be shipping this week. I think that is great customer service if you ask me. I don't know about anyone else, but I would think that most would agree, that waiting of few extra days to get a good product that is a plug and play device without having to wait for someone to patch it, is completely worth it.

Your hard work is appreciated, I have 3 of these bad boys on order for me and the family, so getting it right saves me a lot of headaches.
