I've just finished chatting online with a representative at GeekBuying; and it appear they've sold out on the first batch of the Tronsmart s89-h with more stock expected at the end of the month.

hmm it would be good if the site could include a 'contact me' tab, where they can let US know when there is actually stock or not... i'm holding off for now, not wasting money on express post if the item is gonna be days/weeks/months/ away...

I can confirm, this is WRONG, the factory just send us 300pcs, and we just finish ship the first 300pcs orders, and the new stock will come tomorrow, about 500pcs , and then anther 500pcs in the day after tomorrow.

the vega s89 standard version should be in stock at the end of this month.

factory want to produce more, the problem is amlogic s802 chip supply.

amlogic can't supply enough chip to those chinese factories, xiaomi give them a 500K orders and amlogic is busy at those "big orders"

I mailed customer service at geekbuying asking if I am able to root this device. They said yes, but I wonder how they can know this as people are saying that Finless ROM doesn't work for S89-H. Anyone who knows anything about this?
