Alright here goes, Im getting one of these in the mail in a few days, and would love to have a root and recovery ready for it.

      1. Nextbook/Efun/Yifang Digital
      2. NX785QC16G
      3. MT8127
      4. http://nextbookusa.com/download.php (It is labeled as being for the 8G device, Nextbook is a bundle of joy when it comes to information and labels)
      5. 16GB I think
      6. 1024x768

Any help is appreciated, but I am also willing to attempt a few things myself. The scatter file appears to be included in the FW download.

OK, guys....I've had an extremely busy few days. I planned on getting some ROM work done at the firehouse last night, but we had a house fire and took up all of my time. Tomorrow, I have the whole day off to cook ROM's, so I will try to get some of these requests fulfilled.

I have one project that someone is paying me for, that is kicking my butt. As usual, things aren't working just like they are supposed to...so that's my priority. But I'm close to getting it done.

Unfortunately, iRulu doesn't have this firmware available on their site. I can, however, work from a ROM dump from your tablet. If you have rooted your tablet by some other method, you can make a ROM backup (dump) using MTK Droid Tools. Just pack all of the files into a zip and send me a link.

I should have you a ROM in the next few days. I'm getting slow download speeds in the USA.

Hi, in previous page I have written something about my tab s6000 lenovo and that time you said I can t do anything because of unavailability of source code of this tablet and I said there is open source of this tab but the thing is not a new ROM for me now I just want to know that is there any possibility to make a phone call for this tab just as a easy way due to make a ROM ? I have shared all information about tab in other page Thanks in advance

I'm a ROM developer...not a kernel developer. I've tried learning how to compile my own kernels, but that's way out of my league. I don't know of anyone on Freaktab actually compiling MTK kernels from source, but if someone has in interest in doing it, I can support them with what I know about custom ROM cooking.

About making phone calls from your S6000, I'm not sure it's possible without some major tweaking.
