mmm about the first link is easy to download with JDOWNLOADER generally the http://dl.vmall.com/ page with jdownloader download without knowing Chinese xD

This is the same firmware but in English as a base:
FileFactory is the best place to upload and share files with no limits since 2005. Send and receive any type of file up to a massive 5GB with unlimited file bandwidth.

the first link is the original web site in Chinese

                That looks very frustrating.

Did you buy the tablet brand new? Has it always performed this way, or just after this particular firmware version was flashed?

Sometimes, the factory has an outside company do their refurbishing work. I've seen this before when the touch panel was replaced with a part that is different than the original touch panel. Drivers are very specific for the touch panel that came on the original device in the firmware.

Aside from being able to obtain the modified firmware that was already installed on your tablet when you bought it....I don't know what else to try.

I wonder if other Ainol users are having the same problem with this firmware.

Here refers to T98 4G. I think the P98 4G is not exactly the same. Sorry if i am in error.

                              Alcatel One Touch p320x

                              Dear Randy,
Many thanks for taking time to help others with MTK tablets!!!
Few days ago, as a part of business package, I got an Alcatel One Touch p320x which I understand fits into this category (Product model: alcatel one touch p320x, Android version 4.4.2, Baseband version: MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V39.P4, Kernel version: 3.4.67, Build number: 01001, Manufacturer: TCT Mobile Limited, CU reference: P320X-2AVNRS1, chipset MT8382).
Could not find its stock firmware download link, but am planning to root it first (following advice provided somewhere on freaktab, could be this very thread, forgive my short memory and make a back up if that would be of interest to anybody else.
Searching around, I also found that it appears to be most similar to Teclast P80 3G (MT8382 Quad Core 1.3GHz 8 Inch Android 4.4 Tablet http://www.androidheadlines.com/2014...rom-china.html), Freelander PX2C (7"), Pipo U7 (7.9#, Android 4.2) and Cube Talk 8 and U27GT. Still I have some doubts before I start playing as, apart from MT8382, these tablets share very little in common: differ in screen sizes, Android version and probably many other features.
My question is: would it be safe to play with your ROMs for these tablets despite the previous?
I am not overly ambitious as it already shows decent performance given its hardware, but if I manage to master this task, I would reaaally LOVE to learn if it is possible to run some Linux on MTK tablets (so far I was mainly a Rockchip person, and tweaking with linux kernels provided me so much fun that it almost became a hobby - btw I am just an average user, not a developer or anything similar

Forgive me a rather long message, and many thanks for your help!!!
                              Goran

Tablets are like snowflakes. There are no two models exactly the same...and ROMs are not interchangeable. You are guaranteed to produce a brick if you attempt to flash a ROM designed for another device.

The best solution is to back up the firmware using the MTK Droid Tools app and zip it. Then send me a link. I can work on a ROM for you.
