No output from HDMI

I bought a very cheap 2 way HDMI splitter from **** (china) that resolved the issue since it eliminates the HDCP protocol on the HDMI outputs

Interesting, I was recommended a HDMI splitter on another forum too, probably it's the way to go. Could you please point out the exact model/search words for it? Is it something like this: http://www.****.com/itm/1-in-2-out-H...-/301124224991

I also don't understand where exactly is the problem? Is the cable or the box that requires HDCP to work?

that one in your first link (****) did the job perfectly for me

no problem with the cable (you can use any cable) just that this splitter will bypass the HDCP protocol inside it since SHARP didn't had the necessary funds to implement it/license it in their expensive TV models ... I would never ever buy sharp again

Im very disappointed...I have to wait for a long time to get a new one.

I don't know where you live. I live in Denmark and it takes about 6 till 10 days to ship from me to china and 10 days from china to Denmark.
