      ULTRA 1080p ROMS

      Hello Tech1. I`m wondering if there is a 1080p version of this rom using jellybean.I have tried the latest kitkat roms and the wifi signal is poor at best,early days I suppose. I am currently using this firmware htc t018 public MTK 20140225.img on both cs968/rk3188 and TV01 RK3188T and it is running very smooth. Do you have a variant of your rom based on these specs? Thanks Iin advance.

        OK, I have tried the Quickshot rom and found that both the build-in xbmc and Gotham are not working well at all with 1080p movies. I have tried 8 1080p and they were stuttering, audio/video out of sync, everything else seems fine. I haven't try to overclock since there's no need for that and not good for the device anyway. So it seems like it missing something to drive the 1080p correctly. Also found that when I connected my device to pc, it did not show my device storage. Now I'm reflashing back to your rom...

            Via your Gotham XBMC are you using the following Settings {Settings Level Expert}> System> Settings> Video> Acceleration> {-Allow hardware acceleration (libstagefright) checked in blue} ...

            {-Allow hardware acceleration (MediaCodec) unchecked no blue}

            I sent you a PM earlier asking you for a link to your current version Gotham XBMC build, thanks in advance ...

            As far as 1080p movies/video playback via the current XBMZ build, that I'm using, it's perfect, works like a charm, via my current Google Android TV Multi-Media Super ROM build, no problems with 1080p movies/video playback ... Also AC3 DTS works great too ...!

            *Also their is a built IN hack to make large 1080p {Files} movies/video playback smoother via the Gotham XBMC or the Gotham XBMZ, enjoy ...

              Not be a gloat, but I've been posting since RC1 came out that Gotham was playing 1080p smooth as butter. All this XBMCZ and BeyondXBMC, its all unnecessary. The XBMC guys have finally "got it" on android.

                Ok guy. you the man, please give a link to the Gotham XBMC RC1 you are using ... Now all the Gotham XBMC nightlies I tested thus far has the HDMI pass through settings, but no Libmedia.so hack AC3 DTS digital sounds ... Like I said, I have a 1080p large file video hardware acceleration hack in my current Google Android TV Multi-Super ROM builds and My MTK T018 Google Android TV Multi-Media Super ROM that works like a charm with the XBMZ with large 1080p files, plus it has AC3 DTS ..

                Now concerning the Beyond XBMC, a new build and a new Gotham XBMC build will be coming out very soon according to Flumpster ... Please sent me the link, thanks in advance ...!

                    You mis understand what I am saying. I am saying since Gotham came out, its been working perfect for 1080p video. The passthrough I cant speak to as I dont have any equipment for that. But the video has been working just fine with no hacks since XBMC came out. I am not saying *I'VE* made anything, im saying the XBMC team nailed it.

                    No need to take anything personally, I wasn't even referring to you.

                            The above link Gotham 13.1 skips, jumps frame, stop and go, no AC3 DTS HDMI pass through, naw man, the Gotham 13.0 XBMCZ is the best I have tested thus far, smooth as silk, plus it has AC3 DTS HDMI pass through, hands down the winner for my money ...!

                                Yes Tech1, servo386 is same as me, original Gotham 13.1 is working the best on your super rom, 1080p streaming is beautiful and smooth without any modification to expert settings (stagefright/media.so). BTW, don't know it just me but I found your super rom is little bit snappier than Quickshot rom.
