yes make sure in your xbmc settings you enable hw accel, but for that to work, make sure in developer options under your android settings you have enabled hardware acceleration.

by the way... LOKIE where are you?!?! I have 2 days off in a row on Tuesday and wednesday. I'm going to attempt to do an extreme TEC (peltier) mod with an old usb drink cooler. Hope you haven't abandoned ship with your kernel...

I haven't got xbmc installed. I've just been using mx player. It does it on 4k player, mx player and the stock media player. Is xbmc the only way of playing full hd vid without any stutter then? My cs918s plays then fine, thought this box would be the same.

Mx player plays them fine at my end with HD + enabled in MX options.

XBMC is really the best method for playing all media really, its this one you should use if you do want to go down that route. http://blog.geekbuying.com/index.php...-rmvb-support/

i never had to enable any settings in developer mode , it should all be done for you.

              PS3 dualshock with Sixaxis

Does anyone have success to connect PS3 Dualshock (or other) with SixAxis app on this box? Its working via cable but not via bluetooth :/
It just not pickup my ps3, blutooth address is set fine with pair.
Its working on my nexus5, so controller is fine. I noticed sometimes it shows segmentation fault when listening for controllers.

                  Hi Bob,

I have test your cpu_fix_816 (104k4) at stock rom 104k4 for -H and find out, that there is a problem with the heat, maybe have a look at http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post190080

Because of this, I ask you, please can you also build for testing
                  - one with 0.0096GHz @ 4 core / interactive
                  - and please also with 0.0096GHz @ 4 core / interactiv BUT from -H rom (maybe also 0.816)?

                  This will be really nice!

If I stop the stress test after long time (more than 2 hours) running (@3cores @1.2GHz @70/75°C), the temperature jumps from 75°C back to 55°C in one step after maybe max 1 minute and some seconds later it jumps back to 40°C...

=> that's why the cpu fixes > 0.8GHz useless (definitely at -H) because you get a higher start temperature and never reaches the 1.9GHz and only short time the 1.6GHz before the frequencies get lower and lower and ...

No problem... I've done it by my self...
It looks a little bit better, but maybe 96 is to less, because the cores often jump to 1.992 so because of that the temperature also rises to high (not the real temperature) and the max feq jump between 1.6/1.9 at idle...
Maybe, because of CPU usage at ~5% at idle i will also try the next possible steps and maybe find an ideal min freq...

If 1.6 Rom is based on 104K4 ROM, is it possible to apply CPU
fixer patches to official and unmodified 104K4 ROM?

This is based on the S82/S89 104K4 ROM.

                        10) Added bonus! CPU fixer patches!
In this ZIP is a CPU_fixer folder. These zips can be used to adjust your minimum CPU frequency and Governor.
See the README.txt in that folder for an explanation and how to install them.

I have yet to try MX player. Also, DTS-HD passthrough through xbmc is not working as per geekbuying. I have enabled the options and I can only see the AC3 capable receiver and DTS capable receiver option. It does play the DTS audio though. I am using the latest gotham 13.1 release candidate. On previous xbmc versions i remember seeing DTS-HD capable receiver option. Have they removed the DTS-HD passthrough capability on the latest Gotham version? I very much doubt it! Can someone shed some light into this please? While playing the video in XBMC and go to audio options it does recognise the DTS-HD as audio upstream but it only passes through DTS to my receiver.

edit: MAYBE THE FIRMWARE IS TO BLAME BECAUSE THIS IS THE -H VERSION?I haven't tried with the stock firmware that came with the box as I have flashed Bob's firmware immediately
I am having the same issue. No HD passthrough. Only dolby & dts cores are passthrough and no option for it on XBMC.

In boot.img I have also made changes to support root, init.d, etc. So it may work on stock but I have not tested it. You can try it as it wont hard brick you but I don't know what errors you might get because files that support root and init.d wont be there in /system.
