      Yes I researched this a bit. Wanted to enable NTFS in kernel, but this is still in development (like in the past 10 years!) & slow (experimental write support). Paragon, using FUSE, is the fastest and works very well aparently (close to native speeds).

        So far, so good...I only want to mention that paragon needs root, doesn't it?!
        Even though I think everybody here has rooted his device...

            i think you have hardware problem may return the device to the seller I think it's a bad solder cpu or ram

                  What's peoples general setup when comes to media curiously :-) usb / nas / pc network / as I've had no issues via usb and pc network via power plugs. I dont use wifi

                    Flash it on my measy b4a and works great only one think if any one can help in mx player eventhough i installed the custom codec for dts i get no sound if i dont enable s/w decoding sound

                          But custom codec from XDA ARE for SW decoding... So if you want to use them of cause you have to enable SW decoding at MX...
                          If you have a -H and MX with HW decoding did not decode the audio at that video, maybe somethings wrong with your MX and/or the video...

                            I was able to read and write to an external attached hard drive with my neo minix neo x7 with the same hard drive so why can't this work with the vega s89. Just wondering.

                              Would rooting allow me to change the aspect ratio and overscan / underscan within the Android interface? It doesn't help me if its only XBMC.
