Remove SD card and re-insert it.

The SD card will then mount.

      Power down the X7.
      Turn power off.

      Power on and reboot.

I had the same problem, but thought it was a Link2SD second partition 'issuse'.

SD card mounted now and reboot/power off shows SD card now still mounted.

I've seen my SD card become 'unmounted' in other builds too.
Minix 'quirk' maybe, haven't looked at any logcats.

First boot you should see the TWRP recovery. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT touch it! Wait and it will reboot on it's own. It was formatting /data /cache/ and internal sdcard in the background. If you messed with it and did not let it reboot, bad things will happen e.g. like sdcard wont be mounted in android because it did not get formatted.

I do not see the TWRP screen. As soon as the rom is done flashing, it reboots and takes me directly to the red "freaktab.com A Finless Bob Rom" screen. And it freezes there. Using boot1080air and 1800 798 720 kernel. Will try flashing a different rom to see if the issue could be hardware related. I'm sure I will figure this out.

Have tried on 3 different machines and successfully installed the drivers for 2 of the machines, but same outcome. Even used the existing drivers from my old 1.7 install on a 3rd PC.

Also, I assume there is no issue not having the userdata and backup boxes unchecked as this should not be required.

Firtsly thank you Finless for you hard work. So far everything works great. I have one questions:

              1. Is this ROM 1080 Overlay or True 1080? I'm asking because if Minix is spoofed to Nexus then in XBMC screen resolution is 1080 if I change to Minix then resolution is 720. My TV is Full HD and I am concern if picture quality suffers.

Just installed Finless 1.9. After 10 Minutes of testing everything seems to be just fine.
Have to go now, will move on testing tonight.

                Regards

Try flashing with the stock kernel, your x7 could be sensitive to heavy o/c
Also fyi the unchecked boxes are correct.

Just played a chip of 'Person of Interest' which includes three enchanced AC3 audio tracks and 1080p MP4 video from SanDisk Extreme SD card.
Video is via HDMI to 24" IPS monitor (Dell U2410) and listening with Bluetooth headphones.
The original English track is close to perfect (no bluetooth audio advance) even the dub'd french track looks spot on.
Using MX Player Pro with HW+ acc. I manually set the Audio track to SW decoding too and it was still OK.
Checked the audio from the monitor (in via HDMI and out via 3.5mm) and that looked/sounded OK too.

Monitor and Minix box are set to 1080p60. I note the video I'm viewing is 1080p50.
So, set the Minix box to 1080p50, but still didn't notice any problem.

I have had to advance/retard audio on other older Android boxes, so I hear what you're saying, but I'm not seeing/hearing anything noticeable myself at this time using Finless v1.9

Yep. just did the stock and it worked. Funny as I was able to run the OC with 1.7. Will try a little less OC and see what happens.

                        Finless!!! Love it, thanks!

Any chance of offering a 1704 range of OC kernels? My X7 doesn't like the 1800 CPU clock at all.

                        Or

Can I simply flash a 1704 OC kernel from 1.8?

Well, next time I will only try stock first. None of the OC works for me...they all hang.

Yes I can make more OC'ed kernels if you all like.
Just tell me what you want.
I assumed most X7's would have no issue clocking to 1800 so I skipped 1704.

kernel_cpu1704h_gpustock600_ddr720 was what i used on 1.8. For some reason my Minix gets stuck on the initial boot screen or loops it indefinitely when using 1800.

When I get home I will crank those out.

FYI CPU OC really doesnt get you as much as the DDR OC.
