You checked your ethernet speeds bob? Maybe because deodex the rom?
This is from same router with pc.



And this is from same router on minix.

try this:
1. connect usb between pc and minix
2. press and hold the button (not the power button) on the back of minix (the one used for flashing)
3. press and hold the power button
4. device should be recognized by flashtool
5. release the flash button, but keep the power button pressed
6. erase NAND and restore the firmware

I'm at work right now so I can't search out the link but try searching for short circuit pins 5+6 of the processor. I'm sure there's a tutorial on here or over at Minix unofficial site.

Look at bricked my x5 on this forums or google.
By shorting the pins it comes back to life.

The pin nrs of the x7 are different but they in the same place.

Lan speed is very important to give a good streaming speed.

It constantly different.
The craziest outcomes i got on speedtest.net.

Well I took a look at my LAN speed for you....

I'll start out by saying I live around 20 miles from a city so I don't have fibre optic or cable connection in my village at the moment. The best speed my phone line supports is 8mb/s

Laptop LAN speed 7.13mb/s upload 1.21mb/s download (tested on speedtest.btwholesale.com)
Laptop LAN speed 6.97mb/s upload 1.09mb/s download (tested on speedtest.net)
X7 LAN speed 6.87mb/s upload 1.09mb/s download (tested on speedtest app)
X7 Wi-Fi speed 6.67mb/s upload 1.01mb/s download (tested on speedtest app)

In conclusion I have shit internet speed and should move to a city! But seriously I don't really get any problems using XBMC or the TV apps I use BTSport ect....
For instance I go XBMC>Mashup>HackermilsStash>3D Movies. I can stream any film without any buffering at all most of the time.

I can see you have some real issue though loosing 80mb/s! Just sorry I can't help you further dude.

Only with this rom i get that crazy speed. One time i got 60 and 1 minute later i get 20 ..

Hmmmm..... have you looked at log-cat? You might be able to see a dodgy command or strange process happening?

Its not that difficult but you need to make notes of the exact time you start a task so you can locate it in the log then you must define the fault if there is one.

I use cat-log reader from playstore.

Maybe ethernet tcp tweaks from Bob aren t compatible with minix last rom.

Bob, can we go back on stock tcp data to test that? It seems speed ethernet stock rom is awesome....
