NEW - Minix Neo X7 - Finless 1.9 ROM

Play not working...on some

I have 7 Minix x7 players. Two are from earlier this year and worked splendidly with the previous ROM on it but not Google Play doesn't load....I just bought 5 additional units which i am having no problem with.

Do I need to flash the new Minix firmware to these two that Google play aren't working on?

Thoughts?

Nevermind....for some reason....I think that the wrong TIMEZONE was causing the problem.

this 1.9 is based on 4.2. i'd be interested in a 4.4

Are you re-naming the file correctly? You should name it "update" (without " ") only! Not update.zip or anything else by mistake.

im having trouble doing the hls patch as well. method one has an error - no MD5 file found and zip signature verification failed

method two - rename to update.zip and when you get to do the update it fails. if you rename it to update without the .zip it doesnt recognise it to give you the prompt to do an update. I also found it had to be on the external sd card, wouldnt do it on the internal sd

any help please? im trying to get ftv add on working along with ontap tv

Hi Bob! I flashed this your rom 1.9 successfully. Thanks for your efforts to bring this rom to everyone at least to me! I highly appreciate for this!

Everything goes well, except following issues:

- loss bluetooth connection at the next reboot. I used the bluetooth combo mouse Riitek for years without issue. There is no issue with Minix stock rom as well. Can u check this ?

- On page 1 you shared the adb commands bug is fixed but I have no connection this with pc although X7 was driver installed with pc successfully. I want to mod some on SystemUI, lunar calendar for my end purpose.

just reflashed, flashed also the deodexed zip succcessfully but adb commands are still no functioning

Started up my x7 just now!! Everything gone!! Damn!!!
Reflashed and up n running again. Anyone had this issue?

All my apps are gone my launcher everthing gone. No ethernet anymore.

Spmc gone
Es file explorer app is there but says not installed. Watched yesterday evening couple of series with mx player.
Also mx player gone. Just erased i guess.
Reflashed 1.9 everything setup again.

Weird... It works just fine for me...

I guess that you have already enabled "Settings" - "Developer options" - "USB debugging".

The catch is that you have to enable "Settings" - "USB" - "Connect to PC" after every reboot.

If you also want to access your device from your computer as a Mass Storage device, you can go to "Settings" - "Storage", click on the three dots in the upper right corner, and select "USB computer connection" - "Mass Storage". After connecting the USB cable to your computer, two Removable Disks that correspond to the internal and external storage will appear, that seem to be inaccessible. To access these drives, you have to unhide the status bar, click on the USB symbol near the clock, select the "USB connected" option, and click on "Turn on USB storage".
