Me, too.

The fallen 'Droid is rather common (or so I have found on Chinese Devices...).
That Pic., in and, of itself doesn't mean very much.

Again the "Trick" here is to unpack the *.zip File either into a separate Folder, and Manually install it though the 3e Recovery - e.g "Apply Update From EXT"...
Or unpack the Files such as they are to either a Micro SD Card, or USB Stick where it should then Update automatically.

Other then some broken Plugins inside XBMC *cough* MX Repositories *cough* BBC / RTÉ. Everything seems to be on the up, and up.

I have same problem with you at last night (can't flash last 111k4 firmware *current firmware 108k),
but now i can flash 111k4 success.

By
1. download 111k4 again by PC.
2. extract 3 file to USB Flash drive
3. Plug into mbox. goto setting --> system update --> select file in usb flash drive --> update
4. MBox must reboot and flash new firmware.

Ok I'm onboard ... Can't believe I had such a hard time flashing it to 111K4. Had to burn 109K4 on first and then used the system update in Mbox settings as suggested by Oman and fantom2009 to install from either SD or USB.

Didn't know one could use the mbox settings for local update, thought it was just for OTA as I know earlier version didn't work as well.

Some remarks and applause:

AML codecs are WAY better on this release. 4K stock media player can now play DTS files and every codec so far I have tested. 😄Thanks for all the hard work and support Oman and the guys at Beelink and seasons greeting 😄

P.S MY NEXT BOX WILL ALSO BE A BEELINK 🌠

First of all, great job Oman! Watching movies through xbmc feels smoother. I don't know if I am wrong but it works like a charm! I didn't try the bluetooth connection on my mxiii yet. The rest look and feel the same for me. The incobatibility with some games continues(touch issue).
One notice from me is that when i first installed the rom (sd and pinhole way) I couldn't find the preinstalled apps like xbmc skype and others. After turning the tv box off and then back on the apps appeared!

Big boost I find on this firmware is the wifi .. runs better merry xmas oman bob and freaktab useres

Merry xmas @all.... Frequencyswitcher is workin well with your xbmc spmc build........ .... just got an issue when rebooting... Have to replug hdmi for sound and better color ...... For me it isnt a big problem cause my boxes are 24/7 on.....but maybe a nice to know for others

come back, why???

Bob explains that the recovery is not good in the stock rom, i don't know if you can use the recovery from his latest rom 2.1 he has fixed it for us i think the stock recovery.

However to explain something to you all on how recovery works.
On boot to rceovery the system first looks for recovery.img on external SDcard.
If it finds it it will boot that recovery. If it doesnt, it will boot the recovery in NAND.
So even if you want to use the stock recovery for some reason, you do not have to flash it.
Just open the stock_recovery.zip and copy out recovery.img.
Put this on SDcard and when you boot to recovery, it will be used instead of what is in NAND.
The same holds true for TWRP recovery. If you have the stock recovery in NAND and want to use TWRP,
Simple open the twrp_recovery.zip and copy out twrp.img. Rename that to recovery.img and put it on sdcard.

Merry Christmas, and thank you very much, now I understand,its very easy. If I want recovery I put recovery.img on micro SD card, system read and boot into recovery
Also I can use. Twrp or Stock recovery. Thanks Bob
