If you don't live in China... Then have fun waiting for that Download pan.baidu sucks! (Well at least for me anyway, and I have a 50meg VDSL Line!)

Perhaps a better Question to ask is when the heck will we ever see a MicroSD / USB (Three)*.zip file of this emerge, hopefully with kodi, and some other goodies packaged in?

I mean its been nearly Two Weeks now, what's the hold up?

So far I have to say that 113k4 has been a bit of a damp squib about the only difference is the additional setting to Disable USB-audio OUTPUT. (Whatever that's good for...), and of course fixing the horrible spelling in 112k4. Otherwise its exactly the same Build as 112k4.

That's what I've been asking pretty much since 109k4. I still have it on my PC, and perhaps I may get 'round to reinstalling it, and setting this as my "Base Install" for Google Music someday. At which point I'll be sure to test the Ethernet Port again. For now I'm on OpenELEC 5.0.6. Because of my poor experience with my DVB-C>IP Device under Android XBMC / Kodi. Oddly enough, it works just fine under openELEC though. So unless I'm missing a way to do a Speed Test under OpenELEC I'm kinda outta the Game for the Moment. I will say One thing though the performance under OpenELEC has of yet not given me much reason to question it the way the stock Android Firmware has. the crack about pan.baidu though, is (From my perspective...), totally unrelated. I just happened to have the misfortune to had ran into some really craptastic MediaTek Phones a few Months ago. Needless to say most of the available Firmwares were hosted there, and downloading these on a PC with GigE, on a (what was then still a new), Router also with GigE on a 50Meg connection. Still took Days to download. So those "issues" were clearly Server related.

I Know i had a zopo c3 also with a mediatek soc .Never gagain it looked great had good specs was little faster than my galaxy s3 at that time but no updates .they didnt even do anything about a screen bug it had .and it was on android 4.2 never an update .Thats when i learned that chineese need to learn what aftersales is .Its not only pushing boxes its also giving service .One of the reasons i sayd that the next one is going to cost a little more(nvidia shield tv) but iam not afraid to end up with a box that i bought with bugs and is going to end with bugs. And i count myselve lucky that my hdmi soldering is ok.

And iam not talking about lollypop .No hdmi problem, network problems, I use the box every day for several hrs and all i ask is a stable box. i dont care if its kodi 14.? and android 5 i just want a box thats stable on xbmc/kodi and the problems i discribed above .

I don't know what kind of Box you have now... But, if you can live without Google, you should give OpenELEC a try. No I dare say its NOT perfect. But, it is a damned sight better then the Android version of XBMC / Kodi.

Sounds to me like you're the kinda person that can't live without Google... (Or, by proxy Android's *.apk's), and I kinda understand that too. As I'm also missing a number of Google Services + separate Radio .apk's that only exist under Android. So I tend to see it as a trade off...

Which do I want more? A working DVB-C>IP System? Or, Android? Having already investing a great deal into that Setup the answer is somewhat clearer. It doesn't mean I like it... But, it is clearer!

So when the Android version of XBMC/Kodi chokes on Live-TV HD Streams coming from my DVB-C>IP Repeater. Whereas OpenELEC just plays them with no problems at all. Suddenly I find I don't need all those .apk's to be happy. Plus I spend most of my time under XBMC/Kodi anyhow.

If I were to actually admit to regret losing anything under OpenELEC. It would probably be the Web Browser. But, other then this I can't say that I've felt much cheated by OpenELEC. I knew it wasn't going to be an Android experience even before I thought to even head down that Road.

I was under the same dilemma, I like the Android apps like web browser and email. I had installed OpenELEC on my S89H and fell in love with it, it played my live TV streams flawlessly. Still, I missed my Android apps. To solve my problem, I purchased one of the $35 MK808B Plus sticks and installed OpenELEC on it. I use the tvheadend server that is included with OpenELEC as my PVR backend. I have it only connected to my wired network, and not the TV. Now I have my S89H running Android and Kodi for the tvheadend PVR, works perfectly for me.
                        MK818B, T428, ATV 1220, CS918S, TV01, S89H, R89, ADT-1, MK808B Plus, MINIX X8-H Plus, Tronsmart Orion R68

Sounds like something I could try in reverse... As it were... I wonder if a Chromecast Stick wouldn't also work here?

As to TVHeadend I'm in desperate need of a HOWTO, to setup a SAT>IP Virtual Tuner. That's kinda the problem I think TVHeadend just assume that you already have a PCI(e) / USB Tuner. I have this thing instead. Its a Wall Wort Repeater which does FTA DVB-C (Cable TV) over rtsp based Intranet. Which you can watch TV with on your Phablet, or in my case on the MXIII.

For the moment I'm stuck to using the Simple IPTV PVR Client, and its working more or less. Another reason to switch to TVHeadend ASAP, would be to start pulling the EPGs off of the EIT Streams. Right now I'm stuck to using a third-party XMLTV *.xml File, but it missing a lot of Channels, though they exitst in the *.xml File, and I've linked my *.m3u to call upon those EPGs from that *.xml File...

Have you looked at this option, using the new RPi2 for a PVR backend?

                              http://dvblogic.com/de
I'm not to sure about dvblogic... What I think I know about 'em tends to lead me to think that it would be a waste of Money. Even if the Setup should, be simpler and, more straightforward then say TVHeadend. At least I know that TVHeadend is in fact free, and I don't need to download any Windows Side Server(s), to get it working.

                              But, thanks....

P.s. (No neep to double post here...)

Now that we're slowly entering the Third Week since 113k4 supposedly landed... (09.03.15),
What are the chances that we'll ever see a MicroSD (*.zip File), of it, hopefully One with an updated Kodi 14.x on it?

Have you managed to get Google Music to work? My Music keeps crashing. Message saying cannot play desired stream.
