      Hey D33,
Great job on this, is there anyway that HIDRAW support could be added to this kernel. I have a usb touchscreen that only runs through HIDRAW input that I would love to get working on my MK908II.

      Cheers

        Think you missed the thread.

Why don't you install a cheap tab in the car instead?

Very true about missing the thread... the problem with trying to problem solve while studying for exams. The tablet is a good idea I had thought about, but I could put in a back up camera with this setup and it was easier to fit, but didn't for see the HIDRAW problem. I may have to resort to that since I can't get this working.

Can I install it on mk908?

Can't remember if its the latest one in the rom or not.

Flashing with the latest is perfectly safe.
Just use the rkandroidtool to flash it.

Uncheck everything except the kernel and the to the right of that click on the tab.
Browse to the ap6210 kernel of your chose (tv Stick)
If sd kernel make sure you change the dpi before doing this to 160 (not the end of the wrold if done after but a pain since everything sideways)
Put the device in flash mode and flash the kernel...don't erase anything.

Once you reboot everything exactly as you left it.

May tinker with the rom given time the location services glitch of not being to turn it on if you didn't on install bugged me but never got around to it since its something that never really touched after clicking ok anyway.

Thanks Magnum33... Your ROM for the MK908II is fantastic !!! Antutu score 25750 at 1600 MHz. No lags or jumpers. Videos and audio smooth.. The best ROM so far. Congratulations !!! Hugs from Brasil !!!

Does the kernel have the HID-multitouch driver? I try to connect my Acer T232hl touch screen monitor but it it will only respond if I use 5 fingers at a time that behave as one.

Did anyone try the ROM Magnus33 post in #273? I tried it on my RK3188T Android stick. Everything worked fine, except for the Location services being disabled. I tried to look up for information in this thread but couldn't find anything. Anyone experienced the same thing?

Is miracast possible on this device?

Hi everyone, new here. I've read through the thread, tried VL's roms which are much nicer than my current set up, however I am having connectivity issues.

Does anyone have a working link for Magnus33's upload? I'd like to try his rom version as well but the original links pointing to OneCloud are dead.

Somewhat off topic, but I have a tronsmart MK908ii and Finless ROM 2.0 - KitKat 4.4.2 for AP6210 wifi - BETA is the only ROM that allows me to keep a steady wifi connection. In all other roms i keep trying i constantly experience connectivity issues. Why is that? The module is labeled AP6210 so it should be compatible with all these roms, no?

try this link, not sure if it works, generated too much traffic b4 and froze my free account but that was a while ago. This is Veclinux rom modified by Magnus33, i have used the D33 v4.25 kernel(720p ap6210) thnink you need to change the dpi to 160 in build.prop before you boot the 720p kernel, hope this helps.

The link works, thank you! Hopefully i get some time in the next couple of days to test it out, hopefully it fixes my wifi issue. Is that what you currently run?

Was using it for a long time, moved to Tantrums ROM to see if I could get TWRP to boot. Both ROMs are very good, nothing between them in terms of stability and performance, have always used D33 v4.25 kernel with both. WiFi is very strong on my MK908II no dropouts and around 20mb download.

Nice, my wifi is strong and stable with the finless 2.0 beta. But the rom is slow and laggy. i experimented putting the newer d33 kernel on the finless 2.0, which made it not see any of my nand storage but holly crap, performance was rocketing! 26320+ on antutu.

Anyways, i did try the Magnus33 rom, but no luck with the wifi, still timing me out all the time. I'll keep trying others, even the one you mentioned, thank you.
