I read you in a different thread that if the kernel is embebed in the boot (partition?) then, despite of flashing kernels, they are not going to be used, since it's always going to boot be from the embeded one.
I'm using this rom without any other mods then just changing the cursor or adding some few keylayouts for my remotes.

which version did you download, the early one on op has kernel in boot, you should be using the one that Magnus posted on page 6 post #112, rkandroid tool is the right one, can flash just kernel(must point it to where your D33 kernel is downloaded). if you want to use 720p kernel with it you must first boot rom with stock kernel (1080p) and change dpi to 160 in build.prop or system.ui keeps crashing. Hope this helps.

@marko33 the link in that post is down (file no longer exists)...
can anyone mirror this? or even magnus33 reup it on first post?
i general i find the posting and versioning culture here on freaktab a bit strange. actually for a new version of something the first post should be edited, and a date of the update should be posted together with a changelog. also older versions should be kept in there. not like bob does, make a new thread for each new version, or like here, that new versions get burried in the thread. no offence btw, i just want to suggest some things that make the forum a bit more userfriendly.

EDIT: I didn't read FadeFx post, it was sent while I was writting this, I completely agree with all he says.

Sorry guys/gals seems the rom got dropped from my online drive .
I am not as available as i use to be due to illness which has thrown life into a tailspin but it looks like marko 33 re-posted the rom.
All have to look into ironing out the one or two minor bugs that were annoying me about the rom.Mk802IV Neomode 1.9a original rom 720p

is it normal such a difference in size between your rom and vectorlinux's one? it's almost twice bigger!

Magnus33 no problem mate, however, id suggest to use a och to store the file, something like uploaded.net works well for that stuff. However, you should make your own thread when you find time and feel well again. It is not vvery helpfull if such a gem is hidden deep in a thread.
Whatever you do, first priority should be to get well soon. Best wishes from austria... ;-)

Is your stick recognized by the computer when you hook it up? because no power led smells like a brick.
