Hi!

This is an awesome work. I flashed a lot of rom but this is the best.

but.....

I'd like to use location service and I don't know how to turn on.
The skype don't work with hdmi drivers only with external soundcard.

Please help me! I'd like to use this functions

When the rom is first flashed it asks to turn location services on and you need to click ok twice if i remember.
Location services can't be turned on later its glitch in the rom i never got around to fixing.

Skype should work with the hdmi but with many external devices..tv/home theatres,amps and so on you need to go into settings and sound.
There you select the output profile that works..my amp hates the 5.1 but works perfectly with pass through.

If I flashed the 4.4 rom it ask nothing.

I restored the stock 4.2.2 rom, and then flashed 4.4 and tadaaaaaa it works.

It's a kind of magic!

I've flashed back to this ROM now and so far running rock solid with no more booting issues. Would you recommend a custom kernal or leave as it is?

Magnus, gotta compliment the ROM, by far the best performance I've had from this device
I'm finding some apps are losing data after reboots though - Nova launcher and Muzei wallpaper mainly. Not losing all data but widgets disappear and some apps, wallpaper reverts etc. Any idea what could be causing that?

Preferences also appear to be lost on apps too eg. Google Now makes me agree to terms each time its opened

You want the AP6210 ones.
You can use the sd (720p) one but since the rom was done as 1080p you need to use as density changer app like this one to change the dpi from 240 to 160.

720p shall give you better performance since its less dots per inch but some may prefer 1080p.

As for the device loosing info like wallpaper or nova settings it sound like a dirty flash.

Always use the restore when flash not the upgrade and if restoring a backup never restore settings just missing apps.

Its a pain but it prevent getting important functions overwritten.

Its not a dirty flash but I did restore Nova from Titanium Backup so that could be the issue. I'll test tomorrow and try kernals.

Looks like the first was abit of a dirty flash so stuff was left over.
Always chose restore rather then the upgrade option and if having issue its always to default to a bar stock rom then flash the new one.

Just like any pc a reinstall is always better then a upgrade due to possible left over code making things a pain.

Its a pain adjusting to the fact that i have moments where this happens and i can't think or focus correctly but once i start the meds it should be much less a issue.

Yeah trust in the meds, hope everything goes well.

Might not bother messing with the kernals as I'm scared to touch it, it's running so good right now and I have a habit of tinkering with things until they're ruined. What would be the benefits of a custom kernal?

Browse to the ap6210 kernel of your chose (tv Stick)
If sd kernel make sure you change the dpi before doing this to 160 (not the end of the wrold if done after but a pain since everything sideways)
Put the device in flash mode and flash the kernel...don't erase anything.

Once you reboot everything exactly as you left it.

AW man, I'm so disappointed.

I flashed d33s HD kernal and all was working OK. Just rebooted there and now I'm stuck on the MBOX boot screen. This is what kept happening when I was using this ROM before.

I don't think its the kernel since I wasn't using these in the past and was having the same issue.

It also doesn't look like a boot loop as its not restarting, just never moves on from the mbox animation.

Its so frustrating because this ROM runs so much better than everything else when it runs.
