Running on the supersport Rom.
Have noticed seudden shut down on two occasions as soon as the battery level reaches 15% .
Anyone else experienced this ?

If you read some previous posts you might notice I had the same problem and some others too. You need to break in the battery. In my case turning it off when the low battery warning comes up and then fully charging it while turned off twice fixed the incorrect battery level problem. Now it goes from ~15 to empty at a normal pace.

I have a different problem: after restart few icons disappear from desktop!!! Tried twice and twice happened!

I'm using a 6 outlet usb charger bought from **** as the adapter on the supplied charger is reluctant to stay plugged in to an Australian outlet. It's capable of anything up to 4 Amps.

I have one of those 6 outlet chargers. Only the first sockets give high current.

My 9X arrived today (with 1.8 firmware), and was fully charged when I unpacked it. After an hour of playing with it, at 85% charged, it takes about 1000mA using the white cable supplied with the tablet, and about 500mA with longer, flat "ribbon" usb cables.

I don't know what the supplied charger does: I can meter USB current but not from that charger.

Last night I ordered a usb current meter Just so I can get an idea of what goes on. I've found the flat ribbon cables are lucky to charge my phone let alone the talk 9x. I've found the Tikbro cables seem to be the best that I've found for charging so far.

thanks ydobemos . have tried battery calibration after full charge . will see how it behaves now

i got my cube today. it seems to be goddamngood. 😃 mobile network doesn't work for me, any ideas about this? However, i flash 900supersport's rom straight when i get to my computer. i have downloaded it already... 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌

I am far from an expert, but from what I read 3G is quirky at best ...if that is what you are referring to.

Other than the 3G ..you sound enthused.

Initially I had issues getting 3G connectivity. It turned out I needed to create a new APN with appropriate settings for my provider. Once this was done I have good 3G connectivity.

To make a backup of the imei is there any possibility to get root privileges without flashing the whole ROM?
I tested MTK_root_update.zip but it says "wrong partition dimension" or something similar, but in any case che installation is unsuccessful...

You could flash just recovery then use cwm to install root. Once you have root you could use mobile uncle or similar to backup the imei. I just keep a copy of the imei written down. Not yet had any need of it.
