TWRP for Amlogic devices.

    TWRP for Minix X8(H)

    Hi Abdul,

    first of all THANK YOU VERY MUCH for adapting TWRP with regard to Amlogic devices.

    Yesterday Minix has published the Firmware version 2 (no beta anymore) as an OTA version. Unfortunately the new zip file includes a check regarding the device name.

    If the entry "ro.product.device" in default.prop is not equal to "NEO-X8" the update quits.

    As far as I know you have used "x8_h" instead of "NEO-X8" and because of that I kindly ask you to change the entry so that TWRP can also be used for the new updates.

              i have the same error with older version , i'm using stock rom from tronsmart v.109 the first time that i watch this issue was with finless v.2.0 rom so i try stock rom but with the same problems ....
              one more strange problem after i try to reboot the media always boots into recovery mode i had to flash stock recovery but now i have the same error with recovery, can't mount sdcard ...??

                Strange. I have a s82 and it's working fine, but i'm downloading the s89 rom to check it.

                  don't. i just found out that somthing happens with my player i try to install 108 with sd card but after reboot the stock recovery gives me error that can't format - unmount /data now i'm flashing 108 with usb burning tool to see the results ....

                    I have noticed that Tronsmart remove 109k4 from their site, maybe something was wrong.

                      i noticed to ... but i install 108 with usb burning and force erase all , rewrite keys , after install 109 with sdcard , install twrp 2.8.10 beelink- 109 after reboot had the same problem can't resd mount sdcard-data-ex-sdcard, reflash twrp beelink-not compatible with 109k4 onward (2.7) and now everything works fine .... mount and read all mount points

                        Yup, they(AML) change something in nand that's why i left that version.
                        Glad it's working ok now.

                            after power on and toohtpic the boot logo stay on and the blue light get of

                            but run normal if power on

                            not can go to factory install and gif problems in some app.s

                            how can i go back to stock or a diverend twrp

                                And you can use terminal emulator or adb to flash it or flash stock recovery.
                                'dd if=path/to/recovery.img of=/dev/block/recovery'
