I tried to removed and inserted again, but it didn't work.

[QUOTE=yhaddad;277420]There is a bug, the external sd didn't mount, I can't choose this option 0MB... And its failed to restore, the backup successful but the restore failed.

But try this one, if this works it might be easier than i thought.

Boot to android and give me the output of the command 'ls -l -R dev/block' also.

I take that you have at least heard of the Google Music (Cloud), Service right?
The problem is this... Google only grants you up to 10 connected Devices at any one time, and now since August of last year, they will only allow you to deactivate a MAXIMUM of 4 of those Devices a year!

      Hears the catch though....
Every time I either wipe the Device, or update it from say... 109k4 to 111k4 it generates a whole new Device ID / Device on Google Play / Music. Its not so bad at the moment since I'm not bouncing along from some Firmware to another at the moment. Like I was when I first got it.

But, with each "New Device" (Which is in fact the SAME DEVICE i.e. The M82 -MXIII), I'm now running out of both (Real) Devices that I can allow into my Google Music Account, and burning though the maximum of Devices that I can remove in a year. (From the date of the original removal).

To get back to the question at hand...
Can TWRP be used to clone... Or perhaps it would be better to say make a ghost image that I can write back to, that would allow me to play with these other Firmwares without having to eventually either sacrifice my Google Play Music account. Or simply not to use it on this Device at all?

I've already tried stuff like Android ID Changer, and TBH I found it to be more of a miss then a hit. Even though I can use it to revert back to an earlier Android ID + (A virtual?) IMEI/MEID Number that AFAIK; should in itself clone the Device enough to escape detection as a new Device.

Sadly that doesn't seem to be the case here.

        Abdul_pt

        1) how could I see all partitions in an Android device in order to know what is missing is fstab ? Thanks

Or could you post a complete fstab in Android 4.4.2?

        2) is fstab different from device to device even with the same Android version ?

If you follow the instructions Abdul made a few posts earlier you will have a full clone of your box.
          Just two points are essential:
          1) backup all partitions
          2) copy internal sdcard to external (physical sdcard)

Just restore the stuff from both points and that's it.

Can you add a ' > sdcard/block.txt' to the end of the command and post it on pastebin or send a link to it ?

              And the recovery.log's also.

I have the same problem with Draco, so I backup and restore from a USB key instead of sd card .

The TWRP version I use allows me to backup data or all nand

All nand means everything on internal storage in theory .

                        Done test:
                        1) create test folder on external sd card .
                        2) backup all nand in TWRP
                        3) reboot
                        4) delete test folder on external sd card .
                        5) restore all nand
                        6) reboot
                        7) folder test is not restored on external sd card .

I can not draw a right conclusion because external sd card cannot be mounted in TWRP .

It's not mounted, not backup and for sure not restored. Besides backup of External SD is not supported, what is the idea ?

With some Os we could install apps on external sd card. Could TWRP backup and restore those apps in that case?
