    Does this image works ok ?

    You can't. There were changes on the SDK that made incompatibilities between versions.

      Abdul,

      Yes it works.

      BTW - what I did is just restore the system, cache and SD. without boot and recovery.
      The system boot OK

      I have another idea for challenge

      It is possible to add backup from LAN ? I mean from network computer.

      add mount point to specific folder in network, the question is if the TWRP support ethernet.

      Thanks again

        Abdul,

        Attached below your link to the first version you made for old firmware.

        Can you fix the sdcard problem (not mounted) and add backup to whole system as you made for new firmware.

        Thanks again!☺

        Rename to recovery.img and place it on the root of the External SD, boot the box while pressing the recovery button.

          Regarding the Ethernet, it should be possible has long you have a working system.
          if [ $up.post.type = $type.two.lazy.to_use_google ] || [ $up.post.type = $type.silly_question ];
          then mv $user.contact.up.post /.trash; set response($response.type = ignore);

            Abdul,

            Thanks again. I'll check it later.

            What does it mean working system?

            Can you please upload the source code of the recovery, just zip all the tree and write how to compile all. I could try myself without drive you crazy... ☺

              Already answer this on a couple post's back. You can try here - http://bit.ly/1ACIypG

              Like i told you nothing special in my device tree, it's a normal device tree.

                Abdul,

                Thanks again for your reply.

                Which omnirom source you used for my device m8c?

                I just compile the repository as explained in your link? I need to change the boardconfig.mk customize to my device?

                Any other info that can help me to do this?

                Thanks!

                      The mount points of External SD are the same on both versions, so i don't know what's wrong.

                          Search for a similar device and adapt to yours.

                          As you will find out building a recovery may be a headache, and there is a learning process that you have to do yourself.
                          There are no shortcut's.

                            I really don't know which device is similar.

                            Can you just tell me which is similar in omnirom github?

                            Thanks!!

                                I've flashed android phones and am familiar with clockworkmod recovery but receivers are new to me. I have a Mobie Dazzle amlogic S805 receiver. I want to back-up my custom android install. I need to root the receiver before installing TWPR. I can only find a guide for rooting Amlogic S802s.

                                Is it safe to use?
