hi. what about your own firmware, is it available now?

New firmware is not ready yet. I was busy lately with my private life but whenever i have time i am checking whats new on this forum.

This is what i am working on:New flashable zip(throught recovery to avoid confusion and messing with the flash tool and driver installation)
-New rom will be built on GCC 4.8.2
-Fully deodexed
-Insecure kernel
-8 CPU cores online
-Latest Busybox integration
-Superuser
-init.d support
-Busybox-with run parts
-China apps removed
-Google apps integration
-Dolby sound
-Ad blocking
-much more

My computer crashed last night. My HDD is gone. All the stuff I was working on in the last 6 weeks.

Very bad news. Sorry about that. But you can recover your stuffs from the HDD. Isn't that possible?

This weekend I am getting new HDD maybe an SSD. If I find good deal. What I hate the most all programs and files I have collected over the time for a Cube and China phones are lost.
It will take a lot of time to recover those from many forum sites I used in time. Let's hope for the best. I'll keep you guys up to date.
I own cube talk9x like many of you people and I want to squeeze every bit of performance off it. More is better

Is there no way you can retrieve those one from the DAMAGED LAPTOP HDD? You can open the laptop take out the HDD and see if you can retrieve the stuffs you stored in there. Done it before although i don't know the type of system you use. Lets hope for the better. Wish you luck.

Thanks, but my tablet is going back for warranty, i have spent way too much time trying to revive it... with a lot of help, thanks again guys.

My tablet got back from China after a month and a half.
It's been repaired, but I don't know if it was a software or hardware repair, nor does the seller.

It is good to be back

Due to my busy life i was absent for a while...Got my PC fixed. I we lost dozen off CUBE files i was working on but...Upgrade to the SSD is WoW. My PC is running on steroids now.
My daughter plays with the tablet these days. It takes so much time to develop,test, compile files... and i dont have so much free time now. But development did not stop

There are good news and bad news
Bad news firmware 1.8 compiled with Linaro GCC 4.9 doesn't boot (missing kernel sources) Mediatek never released their sources to the public. Much more tweaks and scripts i lost when my HDD crash.

Good news is i am back. I have created unnoficial recovery for our beloved CUBE TALK9X.
Based on latest 6.0.5.1 CWM full touch recovery + support for Aroma File Manager. Works tested 100%.

Last time I read and follow your "works 100% won't brick your tablet" my tablet got bricked, I lost many nights trying and failing to revive my touch screen, and only got my tablet back from China a few weeks ago. Your software is not directly the cause, the lack of test and too much confidence, in both ways, is.
Other users had the same experience, we are no noobs like you first stated, we did anything fine, but were too confident in "works 100%".

Did you try your software on other tablets than yours, and only yours, before releasing it to public and its many tablet series (different screens, for example) ?

Sorry to say this but you are the only user who have experience problem with the touch screen after flashing the firmware. I never have any issues myself and many more users who successfully flashed my first release are patiently waiting for my next release. I make sure everything gets tested properly before it is released.
