The wifi bug is still present
I tried to do that but wifi doesn't load, maybe need to insmod bcmhd.ko & rkwifi.ko at boottime?
Also tried to use a newer wifi driver, but can't turn wifi on with that in Android settings.

It looks like Karel has a working KitKat kernel for Minix Neo X5 (RK903 WiFi). He is using the same linux-rockchip sources that we do. I've sent him a pm but he hasn't replied yet.

English translation of the french google- Download AndroidTool v2.1
- If you have a single img firmware
- Switch to the Upgrade Firmware tab
- Select the img file by clicking on the Firmware button
- Click on Update button to start flashing the firmware
- Wait for the flashing process to complete. The device will reboot automatically and boot Android. You have to unplug your device and then put it in flash mode again.
- Switch to the Download Image tab. Uncheck everything except kernel. Select my kernel image by clicking on the empty space in the last column of the kernel row.
- Click Run to replace the original kernel with my kernel.
- If you have a ROM with multiple img files
- Switch to the Download Image tab
- Set loader.bin and each img file that came with your ROM. Choose my kernel.img instead of the original
- Click Run to start flashing the firmware

So you and totor54 weren't able to boot KitKat. Did you buy your MK808B from Geekbuying? If so, when?
For all: if you've tested the kernel with a KitKat ROM on your original MK808B with RK903 WiFi/BT please leave a feedback.Last edited by BalintBanyasz; 31 August 2014, 10:55.

Firstly I rooted the U2 rom. Then I flashed the rom with your 1080p kernel and it was booting. Even picuntu was running after reflash recovery partition.
I also flashed the 720p but no boot. Since then I get download errors with rkFlashtool.
So i guess the nand of my MK808B 903 is gone forever but I guess it was not a bad rom but a 100 times flashed nand...
