mk808 dumomde ROM working
I upgraded my mk808 non-b with dumonde's ROM and it worked perfectly. The only complaint is the internal memory is back to 1gb which is small for apps.the finless 2.1 jelly bean allowed for a 4gb internal memory partition. If that can be changed this ROM would be awesome.

Fix
Can you apply this fix to the kernel
http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...-some-TVs-FIX-!!!
post 1 and 12
I looked at the dmesg and if i am having this issue i know someone else is.
Wireless does work on my non b.
So far I like.
I don't think the kernel is 1080.Prahjister ****MK808(nonB)****MK808B V5****MK808B Plus****UBOX R89**** CX919****MK808B Pro****Nexbox N9****Eny Em95****Matricon Q2****Tanix TX5 Pro****

Internal (RK901) or USB? Which kernel have you tried? Because I haven't made any kernel specifically for the MK808. Perhaps your ROM is using it's built-in RK901 ko modules.
Does the dhd_dpc high cpu usage problem affect the non b MK808 with my kernel?
So far I've found these posts on Fraktab related to this issue:
Kernel 3.0.101 - mk908 v3 (6210 wifi & bt combo)
Kernel 3.0.36 - mk808 non b (RK903 wifi) - this was your post
There are similar posts on the internet for other devices with BCM WiFi but there isn't any solution.

These are the changes I've made:- HDMI_VIDEO_DEFAULT_MODE HDMI_1920x1080p_60HZ
- CONFIG_BOX_FB_1080P=y
These settings used to work in previous kernels. Perhaps something has changed in the KitKat kernel.
Do you have a 1080p option under Android settings > Display > Screen > HDMI Mode?
Also, could you post the result for the following commands:- dmesg
- cat /sys/devices/virtual/display/display0.HDMI/mode
- cat /sys/devices/virtual/display/display0.HDMI/modes
- cat /sys/class/graphics/fb0/disp_info

I have a 1080p option under Android settings > Display > Screen > HDMI Mode, but nothing really change, after selecting it the TV tells that the output is 1080p, but it's for sure 720p, even antutu and xbmc still says it's 720p. For the commands i can't help you...i am really a newbie...
I hope you could fix this problem, kitkat and your kernel really works great!

Today
Your commit today worked and compiled well. I have sound.
Applied Vsyncfixomatic without a hitch and overclockomatic with some issue.
Dont have time to flash tonight but will tomorrow.
So far so good.
I did notice a weird thing with governors. Have to apply performance then interactive to work like it has in the past.
16800 on antutu. Wifi is squirly on my non b. Might try real rk901 wifi tomorrow.Prahjister ****MK808(nonB)****MK808B V5****MK808B Plus****UBOX R89**** CX919****MK808B Pro****Nexbox N9****Eny Em95****Matricon Q2****Tanix TX5 Pro****

New MK808/MK808B kernel [RTL8192CU USB WiFi]
Changelog:- HDMI: Added HDMI sound fix
- For more info, see this thread
- HDMI: Make default HDMI resolution consistent with CONFIG option
- HDMI: Added gen2thomas's EDID fix
- For more info, see this thread
- Added sam321's Vsync fix (modified by phjanderson)
- There's no need to use vsyncfixomatic anymore
The default resolution and frame buffer size should be 1080p but these changes doesn't seem to work in KitKat. BTW there is a reason why stock kernels/ROMs only have 720p resolution: RK3066 is too slow to handle real 1080p.
