after dozens of tests and hundreds of penguins. Today I came over to put my stick in the background Any user devices. I had to make a mess with the trombone. thank you for your help advise me that buying a place of mk808b
Tronsmart Vega S89 seems to be the best Android TV box you can get right now. It's way faster than the RK3066/RK3188 devices. You can also find cheaper boxes with the same SoC (AML S802) but Tronsmart and Minix have the best build quality.

I also flashed the 720p but no boot. Since then I get download errors with rkFlashtool.

So i guess the nand of my MK808B 903 is gone forever but I guess it was not a bad rom but a 100 times flashed nand...
I'm sorry to hear that. Are you sure that your NAND is gone? I've had similar problems with the RK flash tools when WMware USB drivers were installed. Have you tried flashing from another computer (maybe from Linux)?

Since i have a quad core device i did not play a lot with MK808B. Because of your request i took the device in mask rom mode and re-flashed all that KitKat stuff. Your Kernel works perfect now so far.

            Thanks again.

Never test wifi because i use asix. Just gave a feedback in regard to installation.

You're in kernel dev, right? Did you hear about a mk809iii kernel with ap6210 wifi booting ubuntu 14.04? I compiled Alok sources and changed gpio but get it not to power on. Would be glad if you can help.

If you can give detailed info and source, I can have a look.
But mostly concentrating on RK3188 now and RK3288(in a couple of weeks).

Why not buy this device http://ugoos.net/ugoos-ut3-16gb-rk3288 much faster and better graphics chip.
or http://promotion.geekbuying.com/prom...ini_pc_release and it's cheaper than what you paid.

MK808B - You can enter Mask ROM flash mode my short-circuiting the pins on the nand chip, look for youtube videos for instructions.

As mentioned i build not a KitKat but ubuntu kernel. At line 76 i tried GPIO3_A0 and
RK30_PIN3_PD0 without success. dmesg said failure power on wifi.

What i do not understand is how to get the values that triggers these pins.

I tried a 802IV ap6210 kernel compiled from other sources but this one uses firmware and modules of picuntu 4.5 and bin files located in /system/etc/firmware. There's also rkwifi.ko that has to be loaded. This kernel seems to work. iwconfig gives wlan(0) but all values are not set. Besides wifi powered off at the end of dmesg.

If you go from a KitKat ROM then flash a Jellybean ROM you will brick your device.
Flash a KitKat ROM again with RKFlashTool v1.7, a single update.img.
Then use Finless ROM Flash Tool v1.37, you are using version v1.35
                              - load KitKat parameter file, then erase IDB
                              - now you can flash Jellybean ROM parts again with Finless ROM Flash Tool v1.37
Here is a parameter file for KitKat - http://www.mediafire.com/view/w877rn.../parameter.txt
